Nothing quite as infuriating as a last min goal for the other side. Ruins the weekend if you let it. But really...we seem so physically weak when pressured in defense. Yes, Maguire is slow, which is another problem with our game, but Lindelof seems soft in duels and de Gea just refuses to put his body on the line. And when we play out from the back...oh dear. Leaves a sore taste after some great play but if the ball gets played into our box, I always feel the opposition has a chance. And so do they.....Not sure we can expect anything to change there without new defenders. Bailly is great but fragile, Jones and Lindelof are not the answers and I presume we're sticking with Maguire so.....not the anniversary result I'd hoped for....don't want to read the reports or any excuses from the players. This happens too often to be thought of as bad luck.

Yes we need better centre backs but today should have been 3 points regardless.

Ole has slowly but surely been getting rid of the deadweight in the club. If you're telling me that he hasn't noticed that DDG is error-prone, then you must be crazy. If "Dave Saves" keeps it up, eventually he will get the boot too.

I think United looked sharp in attack and in possesion today. It's a horrible feeling to lose points when the opposition has absolutely nothing to offer. But individual errors seems to be a recurring theme for United. Everton were no threat at all. De Geas first error made the team shaky. Cost us our mojo.

A lot of times during the Moyes, LVG, Mou eras, I was scratching my head thinking about all the things that needed changing. Right now, it should be fairly easy for Ole to see what he has to focus on. We're on the right path. The team is scoring goals and looking exciting in attack.

A good transfer window this summer, and we'll have a pretty good team. The future looks bright in my opinion.

Unless that is, as you said earlier...they actually brought in expert defensive coaches and/or better CB's to ensure that something didn't have to give in exchange for more attacking potency.

What the feck are you talking about. We absolutely hammered Everton but gave away cheap goals. Our defense has to be improve but so did yours last season. That didn't make you a "limited side". All teams need improvements in some areas of the pitch.

United are a limited side, that's why they keep dropping bollocks out of nowhere. So are City, just to a lesser extent. We were limited last season, we're less limited this season. United aren't an excellent side, they're a good side capable of excellent form. City are in a similar position at the moment - we've not been excellent since the run-in of the 18/19 season - but we're getting better. United are also getting better, just from a worse starting position.

Most goalkeepers a crazy and as you say put their bodies on the line. David seems to pull out of everything.

Well considering our star striker Martial has 4, (2 of them after winning 5-0) and our next best youth prospect right winger has 1. I'd say its a decent return from cm. Add Mctominay and Bruno, those 3 midfielders have outscored all of our attackers.

United are back to the 'Tommy Docherty' days. Great going forward, very entertaining, but not nearly good enough defensively to win the league. Actually the present side doesn't have anyone remotely as good as Martin Buchan. We all know that central defense is where money ( as usual for United) needs to be spent. And if Henderson is not picked now, he obviously is not up to scratch , so a new GK is required as well.
There is enough in attack and attacking midfield , together with some outstanding youngsters in those positions, its defense that needs the work.

I don't know how much longer I can defend Maguire. I tried to for so long. But he's so slow. Cost so much for a man who can't keep up with any pace at all. Lindelof is crap too, I'm sorry. Bailly is decent but always in the emergency room. We absolutely screwed it up by not getting Dias when we had the chance. Awful.

De Gea is done as far as I'm concerned. Give him the Alexis Sanchez treatment at this point and pray someone is dumb enough to pay most of his wages. Great servant for the club, but he is a bottler at this point in time.

AWB isn't good enough IMO. So awkward on the ball and defensively not as good as people say he is (he played on two potential goals with his crap positioning).

Fred and McTomminay is not a good midfield IMO. I don't see why people rate it so much. Very limited players.

Attack looked great at least. Cavani and Bruno especially were great. Too bad their backline is Championship level.

Ole isn't good enough either IMO, but we're stuck with him for now. Just hope he can get us top four.

This is the only little bit of blame I'll put on Ole. Matic was the obvious sub to bring on, it just seemed the clearly logical choice. Instead of Axel is often quite rash.

Where was de Gea for the third goal? Ball drops from a free kick into the six yard box and Calvert lewin has time to take a touch before getting a shot away. De Gea command of his area is non existent, it's now got to the point of being unacceptable de Gea should gobble that ball up all day long.

Overall good performance let down by individual mistakes... again. Got to give Henderson a run, hes not afraid to take charge and command.

Sadly I don’t believe that. DDG has made far too many basic errors to blame Maguire for. As for making saves that have saved us; that’s his job. But doing the basics is also what he gets paid for.
I can do a brilliant job at work too but if I leave the gates open before I leave for home and the place gets ransacked it’s kind of irrelevant

The first 10/15mins of the 2nd half we should told Shaw and AWB to sit in and hit them on the counter, as it was clear the Everton players would react to their b*ollocking at HT.

The Tuanzebe sub was baffling also, we weren't under any threat up until then and it gave them incentive to get forward taking off an attacker for a defender.

Dave being Dave nothing new here.
Pogba out changed our shape and Fred was awful. I just knew how this was going to pan out when DDG have the first one away.

But this team needs to grow up that third goal was just naive to say the least, AWB running upfield with 39 sec on the clock leaving the wrong open. Passing the ball baldly in the direction of Cavani giving Everton a chance of breaking. Alex runs into the space AWB left and fouls. Leaving the best header of the ball v AWB while our captain and the IKEA meatball are watching the biggest threat in the air easily beat the right back and what happens after that is comical defending. No one covers the space behind and our bonus outlet in goal is open for a easy tap in. Dave is as disgraceful for the third as he was for the second.

That said we played some fantastic stuff and dominated a good team for most parts. This team just needs to grow up and learn how to finish these games.

I watched Grealish earlier he draws defenders towards him, he is on the move all the time, all over the pitch from side to side. He wins fouls to take the heat out of situations.
