Under 21 European Championship 2021 (March & May - June)

I'd have loved to see us get out of the group, but its such a skeleton squad with so much proper quality missing, it's no surprise to see us limp out.

Holy shit

He's got 1 in 3 this season.
For the first time in his career, 1 in 3 in the Championship. Am I supposed to be impressed? Brewster himself had a better ratio in Championship at a much younger age.

What players in the senior squad are eligible for the u21s? Bellingham & Saka?
Has Saka even had any minutes this week?

The championship is one of the toughest leagues around.

Like someone touched on earlier they should be playing for the under 21's still, we've got enough quality at senior level.
Maybe it is what happens when you have the ex U21's manager now as a senior manager. He wants to get the young ones involved with the senior squad. We could have had a better squad, most certainly, but they would still have Aidy as manager.

If we’d have made it through we likely could have taken a much better XI to the knockouts with Greenwood, Bellingham and possibly Saka and James. Greenwood would have made a big difference alone I think.

Foden is, I *think* Mount and James would still be eligible due to their age when the competition started

Yeah, England deserved nothing here. Glad they’ve gone out. Might actually force them to drop that awful manager.

Rice too. There was quite a few who could’ve made the side
