Do you want the ESL to happen?

The owners did wrong and they should be kicked out.

I think a lot of people would be for that.If possible allowing legislation that gives supporters more of a say in football, and ensuring that a situation like this can’t occur again.

You wasn’t the one that’s anted exciting transfers like swapping Kane for Bruno? I Can’t remember there was a few getting excited
No that was someone else

But @crossy1686 was one of the main cheerleaders and posted about 500 times in support of it

Why do you care, out of interest? Each one is different, anyway. It's a huge topic with loads of different strands.
Why shouldn't I care? Being a hugh topic all the more reason it being on one thread. It's isn't different as it all comes back to the same thing. Transferring from one thread to another is annoying and time consuming so this is why I am now only reading this thread.

I, m over the moon its falling apart. I'm very uneasy about the fallout though. If these agreements that have been signed are watertight, then any clubs pulling out will be sued for billions and the consequences will be severe.
Personally I'm pretty gutted that Liverpool, my club seem to be balls deep in this complete cluster feck

obviously no offence to foreign fans, I just think foreign owners bring too much headache and too much greed. The clubs should belong to the fans.

The only English owners in the PL are Spurs Lewis and Levy , Mike Ashley at Newcastle, Gold and Sullivan at West Ham and Steve Parrish at Palace, sounds more like a rogues gallery.,

Mate, I really don't want to go through this again but no. A competition that has Midgyhtland in the group stage and teams like United, Roma and AC Milan sitting at home isn't elite in my opinion. Just my opinion though, many on here seem to think it is. It doesn't get good until the semi's.

It's sport. If you're not there, you're not good enough.

Players' PR firms in full overdrive

Respect to the original few who spoke out against it, like James Milner

People moaning some players are saying nothing.

Others moaning they're saying it too late.

Moaning about the ESL.

Moaning it's disbanded but the clubs should still be punished (which would in turn punish their respective league you dimwits).

Can't win

Crazy stuff. Men in suits decide to go behind everyone’s back, without consulting managers, players or fans to milk the cash cow and now the clubs are panicking and are pulling out. Does not compute.

I wonder how much the players are doing to bring this down. I know the threat of not being able to play international football should be enough to get players threatening mutiny.

It's moot now if the plan is crumbling but I do not think banning players would have ever made it through a legal challenge. Players had zilch to do with this plan and banning them would have been just as much a feck you from FIFA/UEFA as much as a feck you to the fans by the same.

@SwedishFish must be devastated. Sorry, but a big feck you on your face to everyone that voted Yes to this. LEGACY FANS WILL PREVAIL

Take note of who voted "yes." I'm usually tolerant of opposing views, within reason, but those people are not my kind of people. feck them all.

Well the free market hasn’t worked for fans so that’s where the Govt needs to step in. I don’t care what Roman Abramovich or Malcolm Glazer wants. If our Govt passes a law saying clubs need to be majority owned by fans then that needs to happen. Billionaires can take their money elsewhere. They still get fair market value.

They did it in Germany with a handful of exceptions for Wolfsburg and somebody else because it was set up by VW as a team for their workers. It was always owned by the company.

I don’t see how the big six can be worth over $20bn when Utd are the most valuable at $4.2bn. The football league as a whole has very little value when you consider the debts of the teams. The value is concentrated in the premier league because that’s where the money is.

Wolves were bought for £45m in the Championship or 1x Van De Beek. They are valued £450m now as a PL team. Even if you were generous and said the 92 football league teams average value was £50m that’s still only 4.6bn. Utd are worth roughly the same as the entire football league.

The values of the top clubs are here

This. They’re all coming out now.
Someone make a thread I haven't the energy.

Can be a Tier list like transfer. Klopp was clearly against it but towing the line etc.

Massive circlejerk on Twitter now between CFC and MCFC about who pulled out first etc. Nonsense. All clubs equally culpable and cnutable.

I literally posted 20 minutes ago saying that supporters of the breakaway clubs aren’t to blame, and they should be lauded for their staunch opposition. That doesn’t mean the clubs themselves did no wrong, if you took off your goggles you’d see that.

So you want to punish the fans, players and staff from those clubs?

Can anyone summarize to me what happened in the last 3 hours?

Chelsea and City have officially withdrawn from the proposed SuperLeague. Rumors that Atletico have too, although these have been denied. Barcelona said to be letting the fans decide. Also a report that all 12 are meeting now to put an end to it.

In the midst of this, news broke that Ed Woodward has resigned, due to leave end of the season. Rumors Juve’s Agnelli has resigned, although this has been denied. More and more players coming out against it.

The only English owners in the PL are Spurs Lewis and Levy , Mike Ashley at Newcastle, Gold and Sullivan at West Ham and Steve Parrish at Palace, sounds more like a rogues gallery.,

Yeah they’re pretty shambolic too tbh, I think the clubs should be owned by the fans 50+1

The selfish 6 should all be massively punished here. I would have no problem with relegation to the championships. Also we need Boris to push through the reforms to allow fans a % stake in ownership to prevent this from happening again. This doesn't stop from a supporters point of view we have to get rid of the Glazers
Boris will do no such thing. Now that he has fecked the country with Brexit he is even more dependent on Gulf oil money and Russian roubles.

Take note of who voted "yes." I'm usually tolerant of opposing views, within reason, but those people are not my kind of people. feck them all.
Strangely I think it’s gone up since it all fell apart.
