The other thread is more of a running commentary. I'm interested to see how many of our fanbase on here support the protests and the ground invasion, maybe with a poll. And also how where you live influences the answer.

I 100% support them. Not the bottle throwing and violence, but just waving a few flags around and asking nicely achieves nothing. We needed to make a stronger statement and we've done it.

100%.

will be interesting when fans are let back in for matches.

100% agree. Nothing will change without disruption, and these protests were brilliant in that respect. Hope this helps build momentum towards regulation that can allow the fans to push the Glazers out.

I believe that we should all chip in a few quid to a gofundme as compensation for the Glazers suffering and distress caused by the protests

Hell no. BUT this way definitely creates more noise rather then a peaceful protest.

Yes, don't think any tiny minority needed to smash things but the glazers wanted the news cycle to just scroll on and the super league farce forgotten about, which it would have been

It would also be good to have a workable alternative to propose. If its glazers vs saudi Arabia for example, ill stick with the devil i know

Yes. Totally.

Minus any individual acts of assaulting club employees or police, if that indeed happened.

It was needed, not so sure they should have gone on to the pitch as this could have consequences, particularly with the inept premier league.

It made a big big impact, to be disappointed with the game not going ahead would be hypocritical. I want these bastards out.

Very much so. I’m extremely proud of the fans that went out there today. That the match got postponed is the ideal ending for today.

The club belongs to the People of Manchester. They have every right to protest against shitty owners.

Absolutely, we have done peaceful protests and got the club nowhere. The fans spoke properly today and made their feelings clear around the world

Supported. I wish I'd been able to attend.

I can fully support the protests while of course condemning the few violent incidents.

100% behind it.

Also, I don't condone the idiotic acts, but this was needed to make a statement to the Glazers

I did until the violence. Less of that and we're golden.

Yes, enough is enough with the Glazers, obviously some dick heads overdid it but that's happened with every protest in history.

Fully support it.

I think everyone would agree that the scuffles are regrettable, but you would expect some excited idiots to show up

A strong protest is the only way at this moment to get a message across, of course I would much prefer to see none hurt or any damage. It’s impossible though in any protest.

I do so long as it's peaceful and as long as no one gets injured.

100%

Didn't expect it to have this kind of impact though, biggest step we have taken in years to get rid of the leeches.

I think it’s directed at the wrong people and has no solution other than, “let’s hope some other billionaire is better than these fellas”.
I think these kind of protests should be done in the hundreds of thousands by all football fans directed at Parliament and the FA. New legislation would mean that these owners or new owners would have to consider the fans.

Inappropriate Content
I’m for the protests. I was somewhat worried about hearing fans getting the pitch and fearing vandalism of the ground and violence towards staff/police, but appeared largely peaceful. Luckily it was only 1 or 2 Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime doing damage out of the hundred or so who got in and there will always be that one Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime.

I totally hate the fact a Policeman got a really nasty gash on his face. Completely Unacceptable.
Completely supportive of the peaceful part of the protest and hugely appreciative of the fans able to attend.

I do, I just hope it's more organised next time and they are more careful not to injure anyone, the video of the injured guy is horrible.

Anything that drove Glazer out of this club i approve it as long as it peaceful and lawful
About time those Glazers fecker heard and see what United fanbase feel about them.

I'm watching the news (and should be watching the match) - while St. Gary Neville is pontificating on Sky Sports, there are scenes of people - and not the one or two that Neville claims - throwing objects, including flares and overrunning barriers, and apparently they've been blocking traffic on Chester Road (according to the BBC). I have no problem with protests against the owners, but I don't want, as a supporter, to be associated with this kind of thing.

Absolutely. Will the Glaziers take notice? Sadly probably not, but a big statement needed to be made. Yes we've lost a Sunday afternoon of football but there's bigger things at stake here.
