Exactly, ideology can be put aside on the (extremely) rare occasions they get something right.
He's certainly got his flaws but he doesn't make me want to hit him square in the face like Raab or Patel.

Think he's always been Deputy PM - part of the reason why it was mental that both him and Boris were on holiday at exactly the same time. Also Justice Sec definitely a demotion from Foreign Sec.

Raab and Patel have to be the worst, when you combine sheer incompetence, awful ideology and power. Hopefully Patel also gets the boot (unlikely).
She knew how to use the photocopier for some of the deals the EU negotiated for her.

The Australian one is a disaster for the UK and still not signed off and she's the hero of the Tory Party and gets a promotion.

Like all reshuffles. Nothing more than posturing and moving the deck chairs.
They are an opportunity for the leader to try to demonstrate that they are in charge and settle a few scores.
