Neither Mbappe, Haaland or Pogba would go to Newcastle just yet. Club needs to build some stature first. Same happened to City - the first players they got were usually decent rejects, but that's all. Eventually they got world class players but it took years. And with FFP it will be a little harder to do the same. Eventually they'll reach the top, there's no doubt about it, but it'll take a while.

Everyone who bashed the Super League has to think twice now. As disgusting as it is, it is the only way to salvage what's left of this sport.
