Premiere League Matchday 10

Good game results wise. Need to get more control on the middle of the pitch. Arteta will probably have to dip into the transfer market to remedy that. Tielemans is great though, wish we had him in the team.

Great result for Arsenal. They weren’t particularly great but got a good result.

Are people flip flopping, or is it the fact that this forum had a shit ton of users who’ll have a different opinion on things?

He’s doing a good job, and my 8 posts in the Arteta thread are all defending him.

He’s had 2 consecutive 8th place finishes he’s hardly pulling up trees. I have no idea what his style of play is nor do I understand why the board is backing him. If you think he’s doing a good job you are in a very small minority.

It's the obvious area of weakness. Was really disappointed we didn't manage to really strengthen that area in the summer considering we were heavily linked to the likes of Neves & Locatelli in the summer.

Because Arteta was given time...
He’s shown nothing to suggest he’s any sort of tactical genius, nor has he show he can get them performing consistently. He has shown a greater ability to learn from his mistakes and try different things than Ole has though.

Perfect day for an upset. Hopefully playing in midweek will affect the bigger teams somewhat, even if most rotated.

one can hope.

Arsenal need to keep this 11 fit really.

Quality significantly drops if say at the back likes of Pablo Mari, Cedric Soares and Rob Holding all play but that's probably unlikely to see all of them at some point this season.

Who's this Ramsdale guy btw? Guy I saw with same name at Bournemouth and Sheffield United was seemingly chucking them in every week last two years.

Only a matter of time till Ramsdale is number 1 for England, really impressive can play out of the back as well.

I'm glad we find ourselves in different camps because after Cardiff supporters I think Arsenal ones are those with the least cognitive function. At least when it comes to footie

Swear no one ever scores those 1v1 against the dippers

Fecking Arsenal now above us in the table. If that’s not a sign we need to change manager I don’t know what is.

It's inevitable they whip up top form before we play them. Has been that way for about 3 years now, despite looking garbage for a long spell before.

How can Brighton, such a defensive team not even last 4mins against Liverpool? Shocker.

Supports Swansea. Says others lack cognitive function.

Not ironic at all. Carry on.

City 0-1 down at home already - opened up like a sardine can.
I could weep.

It’ll be a 10 man defence from Palace herein in and I seriously fear for the outcome.

Have you ever popped into the matchday threads on here? Or seen the 20 threads popping up slating every single player, tactic, manager, owners, Woodward, coaching staff etc, every time we don't win?

Laporte was crying so now he starts every game but Stones' the better player and has been for last 15 months. Laporte never recovered from that injury, his passing is much worse ans has 1-2 brain farts every game.

Liverpool are going to win the title again after us spending another fortune and throwing away another season to Ole and the lads.

I'm sick of having to want City or Chelsea as the lesser of the 3 evils to win the league over Liverpool, when we finally have a squad that should be challenging

I am and it's only October, for feck sake.

Same with City.

Another season of other rivals win every weekend to stop Liverpool. The joy of life under Ole.
Well, it’s not like we are not used to it ! The United way apparently…

Why do no players fecking kick Salah around the place? He's quick but ya always see defenders running alongside him rather than engaging him. Put the f**ker into the front row.
Ronaldo used to get it the whole time.

City are still the team to beat. Don't just go knee jerk on them currently having had an upset goal go against them. They'll win this.
Although Palace have upset them before. But they've scored too early today.

Tbf, the fact that liverpool win every week is (mostly) not his fault!

We will have Newcastle soon enough too, it’s not so bad
