I'm baffled. Why only go a lap or two extra than Max. He should have bit the bullet before Max to get the undercut or go extra long on the previous stint, or go toe to toe with Red Bull in the pits.
Red Bull played that all very well, granted they had to make the aggressive decision. But they made it, fair play.
How does Bottas figure they'd get an easy 1-2?
The tyre deg was v high on the mediums, Merc maybe should have pitted before Max, but think he caught them unaware
Only way Bottas is part of a 1-2 is a Max DNF
by finishing ahead of all the other cars.

To be fair I think they have proven me wrong. Hamilton should have been past Max there
he did not try enough to turn into the corner, he knew what he was doing.
That looked illegal. Though I have no understanding of the rules at all
