They absolutely should ban tyre changes/car repairs under red flags, but they couldn’t do it mid season. As many have pointed out, Lewis benefited massively from the same thing earlier in the season..

Hooray for you that it's handed the win to Max, but looking at it coldly it's been handled badly, and loads of drivers have been screwed by it.
I assume it'll be a grid start, so even though it's advantage Max, anything could happen down to the first corner

He shouldn't be allowed because you say so? You realize the rule allows repairs and changes right? And of course the first action will be SC because the car wasn't blocking the track. Then it was realized the wall can't be repaired from the outside.

The red flag decision was so incredibly hard on Mercedes. It makes for exciting drama, and as someone who ultimately wants Max to win I suppose it suits me, but it really was a bullshit situation. I am surprised it needed a red flag at all to be honest.

Thats the way the cookie has crumbled under the rules. I have no real sense of wrong doing here. Though I can see the argument to not be able to change tyres during a red flag, but you can't change the rules during season.
I think RB want him to move up the grid asap and bank on another safety car in the process

I have more sympathy with this one. I think the mistake though, was not splitting the Bottas Hamilton strategy.Rules correct or not, it is yet another Mercedes strategy mistake.
