Start of the season people did. Bringing in Sancho, Varane and Ronaldo was meant to be the final pieces.

That’s a different matter. High expectations at the beginning of the season that we would challenge for the PL trophy were not out of order. Challenge, not be the favorite to win it.

Most of us thought we were still short a proper CDM, which would be the difference between challenging for and actually winning the PL. But there were still concerns whether Ole was up to the job. Most had either City or Liverpool winning it.
