Looks like the strategy is mirroring whatever Max does. On second look it's not too bad, I thought they could at least do a few more laps on those mediums but oh well.
Think there was a good space to drop him in and the hards will last till race end and will still be fresher than max

Red Bull must be regretting chasing a set up geared for one lap pace.
I don’t think it was right but it doesn’t matter as with the past few races Merc has been faster - always been Hamilton’s to lose.
Here's another thing: if the runoff isn't just flat tarmac all the way to the next corner, then the move would likely have left Hamilton behind Verstappen, and people would be calling for an investigation of Verstappen for the move, which I think could have been ruled "no further investigation" also.
Seriously, if Max hit Lewis there, and it was game over for both, the FIA would have had to strip Max of his points surely...?
