But not when Wan-Bissaka is the right back. There is absolutely nothing he gives us in an attacking sense that Lindelof, or to be brutally honest, Dean Henderson couldn't give us.

Yep. Smalling plus one was what was said on here a lot at the time, and I agreed. But then we went and sold him Smalling and Blind was helped by being a possession side and so I doubt it would work now. But Maguire was absolutely not the right purchase. I think Ole needed the foresight to know that if we were going to transition from a counter attacking side that Maguire is not what we need.

He's made some good blocks but he's been caught out positionally a few times. You can't be too harsh on him as he's not a right back and should be starting at centre back.
