he's playing like shit and he's frustrated. Best thing he can do is go out and have a good performance, or at least look like he gives a dam when he is out there.
People forget barca are not awash with cash. They won't be signing many non free transfers. If any.No way anyone is paying that amount on current form tbh.
It may be but Barca we’re interested in him around 2019/2020 and £100m was being mooted at the time. We weren’t entertaining it though as he was playing so well.
Dumb comment. Let's send off our homegrown guy who has scored more goals than anyone post Sir Alex, who is only 24, just had his first bad season after multiple good and promising years. Because keeping him as a fringe starter is definitely a bigger problem for us and our future than the non existent RW that we have, a 72 year old strikeforce, the lack of a defensive midfielder, whatever the feck you call our fullback situation...
Exactly. Without knowing the full context it does seem like they were shouting "come on rashford....after that performance"...... seemingly requesting him to sign autographs and hoping he would be more inclined to do it after "that performance". Fans are clearly frustrated, but I heard absolutely nothing abusive being said until Rashford lost his shit. Not only was it not that abusive, but seemed to be frustration from fans waiting after the game to get autographs.
Whole situation seemed OTT and all high on emotions. Don't have any strong opinion on the matter, nor taking a side on this one
Perhaps - but I think they’d play ball for a swap deal if we were seriously entertaining the interest.People forget barca are not awash with cash. They won't be signing many non free transfers. If any.
A PSG reviving interest is more realistic.
I don't see anyone they could realistically swap for him. United wouldn't take say Araujo for a Rashford. Plus De Jong is abarca fan boi and Xavi favorite. Perhaps if they extended a dembelePerhaps - but I think they’d play ball for a swap deal if we were seriously entertaining the interest.
Hard to disagree really I don’t get why he’s apologised. If fans give you abuse and you give a bit back it’s fair game I think, don’t give it if you can’t take it.

not Guendouzi but XhakaWright’s just being a twat. A footballer has a duty to behave when employed by the club, not offering on fans looking for selfies. Seems like a sly dig at United fans, wonder would he be the same if Guendouzi did it to Arsenal fans?
If Sancho is the long term LW for the team, I don't see any place for rashford in the squad tbh. He still has some good value in market, so probably selling him for a good price is the best option.Dumb comment. fecks sake. Never been good enough now? He was plenty good enough up until 2021. Then he hit a slump. He had back to back seasons of over 20 goals. Back to back seasons of double digit assists as well didn't he? Excellent underlying stats, particularly before the stress fracture in his spine. Always made himself available for the club. Always showed up in big moments.Nothing dumb about it, i've watched basically his whole career from when he made it to the first team home and away from the stands, it was obvious then he wasn't good enough its even more obvious now.
Need to separate the emotional of bond that he is from manchester and the actual quality and talent on show and if you really do aspire to put united back at the top rashford wouldn't get into any of the competing teams first 11 and he isn't going to sit quietly and be humble on the bench that is blatantly clear.

Or you know, using him as a squad player? Sancho can be used on either wing. Rashford can play up top or on the right occasionally but is best as a LW. Do City sell Bernardo Silva, Sterling, Grealish, Gabriel Jesus, Mahrez because they don't necessarily start every game? No they have a group of attackers to rotate with and push each other on. We have Sancho, Rashford..... martial..... Elanga.... Amad...??? You're saying we sell Rashford, leading us to need to sign a starting striker, a backup striker, a starting winger, and a depth winger now. Its literally horrible squad management to sell a player like Rashford after a bad year when he can provide so much.If Sancho is the long term LW for the team, I don't see any place for rashford in the squad tbh. have a look at their social media accounts.
How many times a week does he get called a monkey or other racist terms?
for better or worse these players engage with social media. Its easy for any of us to expect him to brush it off but given the awful year he's had he's faced this 24/7
He reacted badly outside the stadium to comments that shouldnt have been made - I think the reaction is more about the big picture of abuse rather than what the fans outside shouted. That response hasnt been in Rashfords personality previously had it and he's a human being.
its Rashfords and our coaching teams job to analyse and critique his performance
Call me old fashioned but supporters should support
its all well and good venting on here but to stay behind after a game to berate players is parhetic on my book. Do these people think its going to result in improved performances.
Is this how we treat one of our own?

You're talking out of your ass. Claiming he has never been good enough is fecking stupid and laughably blind. No 2 ways about it.

No just the ones that give it and cant take it back. Whether they pay or not....feck the people that pay your wages.
Right.
Assuming this is true, who are the polite United players?I know several people who regularly deal with the United and City players on a regular basis eg in airport lounges etc.
The feedback is the same throughout - the city players are polite, pleasant and engaging whereas the United players are - with a couple of exceptions - arrogant, unpleasant and standoffish. Far from being an exception, Rashford is often used as an example.
This is just another example. Too many of our players think they're too important to say please and thank you. They're too important to give the fans 30 seconds of their precious time. Hell, some of them are too important to even give their all for their manager.
I don't doubt Rashford is going through a tough time and I hope the club is helping him through it; but there's no excuse for this. Manners and courtesy cost nothing, and should be a prerequisite for anyone, let alone someone like Rashford who is living an incredibly privileged existence, paid for in part by the fans he was abusing.
The reaction by the PR team has made matters worse. His team sending press releases out linking him with our rivals has poured further fuel on the flames. It even seems like his political work is for himself rather than the disadvantaged in society nowadays.
I'm happy to keep supporting Rashford on the pitch - hard as it is to keep doing so given his performances - but he, and quite a few others need to take a good hard look in the mirror, and reacquaint themselves with some basic manners and courtesy.
What? Its nothing to do with standards falling or not. Rashford was by every measure an excellent player until 2021. Then he hit his slump. Of course he can stay and have a role even if he isn't an automatic guaranteed starter. A properly managed squad, like City's, or Liverpool's, have multiple quality players that compete for places with each other. Who are the main starters from City's attacking group of 5/6 players? Nobody can even say. Liverpool have Salah, Mane, Jota, Firmino and Diaz. Only Salah has a locked in place.or standards have fell so much you really believe the above.
Rashford is not a top top player never has been never will be, if he was willing to rotate and play as part of a squad be a valuable asset, but i have little faith he would take on such a role.
Have you seen his socials? He's been getting dogs abuse for ages. Please wake up.
Also lots of players don't sign autographs especially after getting knocked out of a cup. He wasn't alone in that.
Just seems like he's being targeted for abuse. He only came on a sub too. Won't be long till you're all doing the same to Elanga.
Ridiculous. Of course the fans have right to criticise player’s performance. It’s like customer has right to criticise food to cooks not just the owner and the restaurant manager are allowed to do it. On top of that, there were kids there waiting outside and he showed a middle finger. It shows his immaturity.
I think you are totally over looking the fact it is he unhappy with reduced playing time due to his serious dip in form. Its seriously doubtful he'd ever be happy with a back up role. Making it a challenge to keep himWhat? Its nothing to do with standards falling or not. Rashford was by every measure an excellent player until 2021. Then he hit his slump. United next season will likely have Sancho, Rashford, Martial, Elanga before even looking at selling one of these... We've got to buy multiple players anyway. You want to add get rid of Rashford on top and be left with pretty much just Sancho as a senior attacker in the squad (given Martial might leave as well)? Its craziness. He's not going anywhere not should he.
You have to remember him and Lingard are not strong mentally and can be quite petty when it comes into protecting or promoting their images.Seems like he's just fishing for comments so he can play victim.
If the report is true and all the fans who waited outside said is only "come on, after that performance" then he's a cry baby, it's not even an insult.
If I'm shit at my job my customer would rain shit on me everyday and twice on sunday, and that'll nothing that lenient
