Enough for what? There is no possible summer to bridge the gap to challenge instantly. It takes time. We need a striker and a defensive midfielder of course*l, but with those 2 we could put out a good lineup. It needs the right coaching, the right system, the right motivation. We won't challenge for the title but we'll be much improved and be back in the top 4 IMO, with the potential to make the step up the following year with further reinforcement.

Are his hands also tied when starting out-of-form Maguire? That shit sends all kinds of wrong message to the entire team. Meanwhile he has very viable alternatives in Lindelof and Bailly. Hell, at this rate, I am not sure that Phil Jones wouldn't pay better than Maguire. The one time he did recently, he was better.

Rangnick has no backbone. He was pleasing somebody or some people to get manager job, which he clearly wanted. Now he must be similarly treading it lightly to at least keep the consulting job.
