How did Utd build a squad of defectively talented luxury players and names with no workrate or will for a fight. People constantly complain that Utd can not let go of the past but in a basic element of the game, workrate and desire, they have. Bare minimum you don't let the opposition outwork you, every team does now. Stop chasing fecking names and online engagement.

Yes the previous manager left a shit show but the new manager hasn't shown to be any better.

What is there to improve from Ole? He got no new signings, only brought one of his coaches, many players already wanted to leave the club before he came, the dressing room was divided, the club made him keep Lingard against his advice, the players didn’t have the fitness levels to play his pressing style so he had to revert to their comfort zone.
He’s not a world beater but he was dealt a very bad hand.

Mourinho and Van Gaal won trophies. Rangnick inherited Ole’s squad which was already divided and devoid of confidence. A lot of them already had a foot out the door before he even got there.

Nothing can erase Ole’s history and icon status at the club. But damn did he try to do it himself with 80M Maguire and (even more shockingly) making him captain.

Woodward, yes. Ole is no more to blame than Van Gaal or Mourinho then. It’s a low point but watch Ten Hag turn the team into something useful again with good coaching. Ole’s teams played with way more heart than that and got results against Liverpool and City in the past.
Ole spent a fortune and won nothing. He was one of the luckiest managers in the world with fat Frank managing Chelsea and Liverpool injuries. He was a horrendous manager that has managed to put us years behind our rivals.
