Travelling up on Saturday for this one as booked hotels before they changes it for bloody Sky - one thing I am not enjoying about the Premier League it has to be said! We were missing three key players from last week vs Spurs so hoping at least Norgaard is going to return. I have never been to OT in the away end so that will be a new experience and I am looking forward to the game, more-so than a few weeks ago but our form has taken a nice little upturn to safely move us away from the relegation zone. Eriksen is such a sublime footballer and has made a massive difference to our game bringing everyone around him up a level. Didn't realise it was United's last home game until I read this thread!

Wouldn't mind us try the players and formation we had for the last 10 yesterday ...with Matic instead of McT.

Two 8's with Mata and Bruno could be a bit more creative and we have less to worry about Telles and Dalot being crap with 3 CBs in there.

Though we looked crap with 3 at the back vs Liverpool... Probably worked better yesterday as it matched up Chelsea.

Time for Lingard, Pogba, Maguire, Mata, Matic, Cavani, Jones & Rashford to say their farewells to the OT crowd.

Last match at OT this season and what a shite season it has been.
I actually don't care about it, doubt I will be watching, watching United this season has ben depressing.
Hate I feel like this , but it is what it is.

Think this will be the game where we see a few of the kids, alongside some old heads to work them through it.

    De Gea
    Dalot Lindelof Varane Fernandez
    Matic
    Hannibal----Bruno
    Mata------------Garnacho
    Ronaldo

    Blood the kids.

I find this terminology quite revolting, considering the where it comes from.

Football people like to use, probably because they're too ignorant.

    HUNTING
smear the face of (a novice) with the blood of the kill.
    • give (a hound) a first taste of blood.

You and the guy getting insulting by the mascot need to take a day off

 I think you might be waiting a while to say bye to Maguire but I admire your optimism! I would be sad to see Rashford go but if it's true PSG want him then I think there's a deal to be done there.

A win Monday pretty much cements European football next season although it could well be the conference League still of course.

We really really really don't want to be 7th though.

    ---------------------de Gea
    Dalot--Lindelof---Varane--Fernandez
    --------------Matic-----Mejbri
    Sancho-------------------------Garnacho
    ------------------Cristiano

From the bench: Elanga, Fred, sicknote Cavani

Can’t blame you for wanting to field 10 men to be fair.

Nice team but we are not playing with 10 men.

After the Everton defeat I predicted we'd pick up 4 more points from the rest of the season. I thought we'd beat Norwich, which we just about did, draw with Brentford and lose every other game.

I now think we'll also lose to Brentford as well.

2-2 draw. Would like to see Mata instead of Rashford and hopefully Fred is back to replace McTominay.

Magic and Mata deserve to get a goodbye.

Hopefully Ronaldo can grab a couple. Other than that, I'd like to see Hannibal play and not see any of the wasters anywhere near it.

Play matic and mata as a sort of a ceremonial i guess , ddg and Ronaldo also need to start .
Other than that play the youth I suppose.

Brentford looking for revenge after last game.

Hoping Elanga scores a brace and Ronaldo scores a hatrick, I desperately need the FF points :D

The reason why kids are not being played is that our team is so bad, Ralf R, doesn't want to introduce a young player for the first time to the first team, when they are getting beat so easily.
When the team is playing well and is stable with decent senior players, kids can be introduced and given a good introduction to first team action.
If we are getting spanked (and this could happen tomorrow), the last thing you want is to introduce a youth player, for the first time where the crowd are boo'ing and the general atmosphere is toxic/negative.
The best scenario for a youth team player to get experience is if we were 4-0 up with 20 mins to go. 1-2 youth team players can then be subbed on, knowing that the team is winning the match, the opposition have basically given up and they can just acclimatise to the pitch, the atmosphere, the fans, the (senior) team-mates, etc.

Awfully nice of United not to ruin my entire weekend.

I've gone 3-2. Not sure why but reckon Brentford will get a couple and I'm, possibly delusionally, discounting any notion of United failing to win what will be many of our players last game at OT.

The team virtually picks itself with the amount of absentees we have. Hopefully Fred will start and Cadavers can get some game time.

Lads, it's Brentford. 8-0 to Ralf's Red machine.

    I think we'll lose.
CFC were wasteful in front of goal in our last game and we got a draw.
I think Brentford will create fewer chances than CFC but will be more clinical.
Unless of course, the GOAT scores a hattrick.
