Premier League Gameweek 14

No way Forrest are leaving Emirates today with anything, they've been worst away team in the league so far. 3-1 Arsenal win. Saka, Jesus x2.

No better time for an upset. Forest have not conceded more than one goal since the leicester/rodgers explosion at the start of the month.

Yeah they will bounce back from draw against Southampton and defeat to PSV

Well I’m feeling positive - Captain Yatesy says we can beat anyone.

Are we cheering Forest? I think we're still a while away from a title challenge so rather arsenal keep winning.

Never mentioned Arsenal at all, i accept we have been worse. Never said otherwise. Don't be so defensive, I was just responding to a specific comment asking about specific United/Liverpool games.

But while I've got you, what does the term "transition" even mean in this context? Transitioning from one manager to another? Genuine question because it's a term I use myself but can't really define. Seems we're just on a merry go round sometimes. Are Arteta and EtH the answer for our respective clubs? Or will we be in "transition" again in 2-3 years.

Transition for me simply means the time it takes a manager to fully stamp his style of play and get his required players to play the way he wants. Most managers take atleast 2 summer windows to get there (probably more in most cases). I feel like we've been in too many transitory periods as a result of our managers being found to not be good enough and as a result post SAF, we've been in transition after every few years. Some of that could have been mitigated with a better long term planning but that mostly went out of the window because all of the long term planning was always done by SAF since the club knew he was a constant. Then you had a long succession of managers who were expected to operate in the same way, however, were never going to be that constant to enable a long term planning. I think the constant transition had more to do with the structure of the club than anything else which is why a lot of other clubs with relatively high turnover of managers dont have as large a transitory period.

For what its worth, not being defensive, just stating that we have a higher standard.

Way too easy. Not sure how this lot could beat Liverpool last week.

On a side note, reckon we should try and pry one of saka or martinelli here before their inevitable new contract being offered on the table.

I admire Arsenal’s ridiculous drive at the start of games. They’ve gone ahead early so often this season.
Yes they always start on the front foot, putting their opponents against the ropes. Great mentality.

How did Liverpool managed to lose against Forest? They awful, not only lacking quality but structure as well.

We should be taking Saka off but Arteta won't unless he's absolutely done... With Chelsea next, that's a big risk.

Man, I hope Lingard scores a last minute equalizer and does the Macarena or something. Make it happen JLingz. Beans.
