But a primary with him and Desantis could do some damage to both of them, maybe enough to help an aging Biden if Biden decides to run because after a bloody Rep primary, no matter who won, some of the committed voters to one of them may sit out.

So the House is looking likely to end 213-222 with the GOP winning NY by 5 seats!

It’d be more likely 215/216 vs 219/220. A slim 4 or 5 seats majority which means McCarthy either makes a deal with Ds for the Speaker vote, or get rinsed by the Freedom Caucus.
NY Ds got hurt a lot by the Cuomo scandal, all the flipped seats are around NYC metro area, also partly because of newly redrawn map. One silver lining is that those seats are extremely vulnerable for the newly elected Rs so they’d need to reign in their inner crazy or be turfed out on their asses 2 years from now with a typical Presidential turnout.
I am hoping that that dude from twitter is calling that DEM will get 219 this morning. He has been pretty accurate so far.

If the Dems won 51-49, and there was a tie for a vote 49-49, they wouldn't need Sinema and Manchin because the VP would break the tie. Of course, they are losing the House, so it doesn't matter.
