Not going for Gakpo was definitely the right decision, Felix too but not because of his footballing ability.
I rate the guy and he's shown his class against us on multiple occasions. Not sure if he'll succeed at Chelsea but he certainly would have fit right in our eleven and EtH wanted him

For the avoidance of doubt, Martial doesn't count as he's always injured and this whole forum was ready to flog Ronaldo. Rashford is also not a striker

Felix is a half season loan that cost 11m plus his wages (another 5-6m) as a #10/roaming attacker (but not #9). Never made sense to pay 16m for half a season of a player who plays in the same position as Bruno or Rashford. Maybe if he was left footed, or a natural #9.
Gakpo is also a LW who has plenty of weaknesses to his game, but ultimately isn't more promising than Garnacho, nor is he as good as Rashford, nor has he shown as much as Sancho. Made no sense.
