Although it's funny to watch Pep go mental, I don't think what he said postmatch is unreasonable. He pointed out that Akanji can't commit himself fully to defend Bruno because he's not sure Rashford has been judged offside, which is a criticism of the complication in the rule. He also said they have to do better to beat United at OT, so he's put it on the team, not the referee.
Wasn’t dodgy though. Found myself sat praying Marcus wouldn’t touch the ball and thankfully he didn’t. Only ABU commentators, the media and City players who watched it all unfold and did feck all about it, are questioning its legality.

I remember a pretty controversial offside/interfering goal going their way against Villa a couple of seasons back. And that handball they got away with at Goodison last season.

I don’t disagree with you but it’s the modern day football fan - it’s all about the drama, flashy signings, ‘Top 4’ and who is popular in FIFA Ultimate Team these days.
My generation had football cards and Grandstand. The generation after had Soccer AM and the Sky boom.
Culture has changed and it’s easier to follow a game via the fan channels when supporters don’t have access to the match because of the ridiculous prices of Pay-Per-View TV. Illegal streams are horrendous to watch as you’re usually 5 minutes behind the actual action and not everyone knows where/how to access them.
So I guess the fan channels fill a void and provide entertainment. I’ve been guilty of watching a rival fan channel if their team is getting beat because it’s quite amusing watching the meltdown happen live and uncut.
What is it with rival fans and them still talking like Shaw is a shit player?, i mean its so 2015.

In the post match he also implied that refs are prone to giving decisions in favour of United because they're influenced by the Old Trafford crowd. He came across as very bitter - just like their fanbase.

The funniest thing is if there is any game rigging or ref being in the cahoots with some teams shouldnt City be on top of the list ? Most money in the league, multiple time winners in last few seasons, constant tactical fouls being let go, etc. If there is any team that can buy all the refs and FA surely its City no ? Or are they thinking the FA and refs took their bribe and still feck them over ?? Reading their comments it seems like a small club mentality regardless how many trophies they won (or buy ?). Do they expect to win all the games simply by having the most expensive team in the league ? Its like kids playing FIFA

I know quite a few City fans who have gone back to Stockport County in the last couple years. Mixture of County doing well and the hollow nature of City’s rise I’m guessing.
Biggest feck logic ever. If anything else from economic and viewership standpoint its better for other "new" teams to win the league rather than the same "old boys" teams winning it every year. If the same teams keep winning what you get is the current La Liga/BuLi with its boring and predictable. storyline. Or are they thinking it happens because they win too much recently and the "conspiracy" wants to even out the win back to the old boys ?

I've been on here long enough to have seen people making comments like that after we lost the 2002 title race, the 2005 FA cup final and towards the end of the 05/06 season when it was clear we were starting to click and went on something like a 14 match winning run at the end of the season. Folk were suggesting Fergie was done and it might be time for a change.... just the 5/6 more league titles, 3 CL finals with one win, a world club championship win and a couple of league cups came after that, so they had a point did the doubters

I used to work with an arsenal fan who said Ferguson had the entire football World in his pocket and the only way to win the league was to be more corrupt than him. yeah, a lot of lads I know don’t want to support city any more. We have one lad “No Morals Beckenham” who openly celebrates the atrocities that City’s owners commit but he genuinely gets stick from a lot of the other lads in the group.
