Premier League Gameweek 20-21

Oh yeah I'm definitely not worried about top 4 in the slightest. One of these days I just want an Anfield game where we can go there and batter them though. Worst ground to go to.

Yeah. That’s unlikely to happen. Even at our best period and they at their worst, it was always a struggle. Hardly ever won by more than 1 and never really truly trashed them. Which is why it’s particularly galling we basically rolled over for them at Old Trafford last season

Would a draw between these two technically be the best result for us?

Possibly. If I had to pick one, I would rather see Liverpool win today. I can't stand Chelsea anymore. Still butt hurt by the Felix transfer.

There is a reason why these two teams are where they are in the table. Absolute crap.

feck me , still going on about the Bruno goal vs City last week.

A decision goes in our favour and the whole world goes into meltdown.

Yeah where is the discussion about McTominay penalty, potential elbow on Licha and Palace stealing yards on FK. I have heard none of these points highlighted anywhere outside of MEN

That first half was a throwback to Norwich v Sheffield United from a few years ago.

Goes to show how fast things change in football. This was a Top 3 clash 12 months ago while us and Arsenal were the feckups.

Yeah I mean that at least so far he doesn't look like he's just wandered onto the pitch and has never kicked a ball before

He's done ok vs Salah today to be fair to him.

By his standards he's looked decent, he's still a shocking transfer though.
Absolutely, just funny now that averages performances look good due to him being so bad.

The best bit about that 1st half was the commentators still moaning about Bruno's goal last week

Think draw here would be best result for us. If one team has to win it I'd like it to be Chelsea as Liverpool have a game in hand and their PL list of fixtures from mid-April will be quite easy on paper so need them to drop as many points as possible until then.

Just a question on the Chelsea offside. Havertz was behind the ball when Silva took the shot, doesn’t that make him onside?

His left foot was just ahead of it, it’s just not that obvious at first glance

So glad we didn’t get Gakpo.

Both of these teams are well below us in terms of quality and any sort of plan. Very pleasing to watch.

ETH has pulled a City on Liverpool hasn't he?

Baited them into 'stealing' Gakpo from us like we did Sanchez.

I bet he never actually wanted him

He always did, despite his stats.
Yup was glad we missed out. Might turn into a decent LW, and he has a good shot technique and cross technique, but outside of that he doesn't have much. He's not a player who will threaten you with the ball at his feet as he isn't much of a runner with it and isnt explosive at all.

Drury/Beglin are a classic duo, I recognize Beglin commentating but the other one is unfamiliar to me tbh

Yes, Im mostly assuming its Drury with Beglin as usual. The only other one I'm familiar with is Andy Townsend..

Ahh it's Jim Proudfoot. Two Jim's hence my confusion:lol:
