Champions League Round of 16 (14th Feb - 15th Mar)

Chances like that have to be brain farts right? It’s like his initial plan is to head it because it’s a cross and then when it literally lands where his feet are he tries to head it still. Was actually a really good chance for someone like him.

Not a waste to his bank account, or his influence in Qatar.

He could have gone anywhere and earned enough money for the next five generations of his family to live in unmitigated luxury. There comes a point when having even more money isn't just automatically better than having an impressive legacy rather than one where you will be remembered for wasting your career in exchange for more cash. When he's 50 years old, I wonder if he'd look back and say "Yeah, I could have gone to Real Madrid and won several CLs, and been remembered as one of the greatest footballers ever; but then I'd only have €900m now. Instead I stayed at PSG and won nothing but a bunch of pointless, barely-contested Ligue 1 trophies, but on the other hand, I have €1200m now. Much better."

PSG going without a fight. Thought they were much better definitely less than the sum of their parts.

Not that he has been particularly great tonight, but if Mbappé stays at PSG throughout his best years, it will go down in history as one of the biggest wastes of a player who could have gone anywhere and won everything.
He will have to go somewhere else to win the big one. If it wasn't for PSG blowing the French league out of the water because of their spending, one would say they are like Tottenham at best, which they were pre-Qatar.

This really has the look of the kind of game/tie that's gonna leave a really bad taste in the mouth

Milan should be 3 or 4 goals to the good(across the tie). Spurs down to 10! Romero

I think for Mbappe was more satisfactory to win Ligue 1 with Monaco than win it with PSG knowing the massive difference in resources PSG has over the rest of the league.

I really hope he moves out next summer, PSG looks so pedestrian, even Benfica play better football than PSG without spending millions(under the table) in wages.

PSG must be the impossible job. Expected to win the CL every season and you have a mismatch of superstars with huge egos and shit players

The fecking can-can blasting out of the speakers at the Allianz Arena after each Bayern goal still feels bizarre.

Has Theo Hernandez snapped his leg?
You'd think so after all that pathetic screaming

Very good 2nd half from us. PSG looked out of steam since the 60th minute, weird
