The Sun clearly trying to rattle us with that headline tomorrow, just hope no one reliable reports something similar later today
No flies on youAdidas in turmoil with £1.1BILLION of unsold stock... and they may have to 'literally BURN £450m' of Kanye West's unsellable Yeezy range, which could see them report losses for first time in 30 years
- Adidas left with £1.1bn of unsold stock after reporting its annual results
- Company counting costs having cut ties with rapper once known as Kanye West
- But German sportswear brand is hoping to hit back with a profit growth by 2024
I bet the new owners won't get the £ 750 million, 10-year deal that will end in 2025 again.
Feck Kanye!
The Glazers surely can't go and stop the sale now and piss off a lot of people (not fans but mean others who would have bought the club). Also makes them look like unreliable business people if they keep pulling this shit
Or we switch to another vendor, like Nike, New Balance, Under Armor, Puma, etc..Adidas in turmoil with £1.1BILLION of unsold stock... and they may have to 'literally BURN £450m' of Kanye West's unsellable Yeezy range, which could see them report losses for first time in 30 years

I’ve read the whole article and it was not mentioned at all that SJR would clear off United existing debt. You took one look at the title and decided for yourself that SJR would do just that. What a joke.
I understand your preference for SJR’s bid, but please don’t spread misinformation to suit your agenda.
I didn’t write the article or the headline, I’m merely reacting to it. This is literally what was said, not sure how you think it’s misinformation ?The Glazers want £6-8bn but Sheikh Jassim's bid is around £4.5bn and Sir Jim Ratcliffe's at £4.3bn - and both include #MUFC's £656m of debt.
Nah, what's the context for this?
Don't think this has been posted:
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...hester-United-taken-sales-market-Glazers.html
They are getting it from Martin Lipton in The Sun, though. It looks like nonsense to me. It just makes the Glazers look skint if their position is they need a private equity firm to fund the Glazers improving the commercial operation.
The debt is "included" to calculate the final price of the sale.I didn’t write the article or the headline, I’m merely reacting to it. This is literally what was said, not sure how you think it’s misinformation ?
So why ‘include’ the debt amount if not to clear it?
Do you think any owner would come in and want to takeover the club with debt around its neck? How do you suppose that would play out with the fans?

He hopesWhy? Reasons?
Ten Hag not Had is extremely competent ,?I’m not so sure about Arnold and Murtough are you ?
You’re only jealousYou three need to get a room. Too much sexual tension between you all.
Happy first meetings day, everyone! Let's hope it picks up from here
Another usually reliable journalist pushing the minority investment line without any explanation, getting really sick of that now. Why would they want to hang on when their ultimate ambition is to make as much money out of United as possible?
If they hang on, somewhere down the line they'll need to put their own money (or money they're entitled to) into the club. Which they never have done and never will do because that isn't how they run the club because they don't have emotional attachment to the club.
Stone is just citing the general fear about the Glazers without anything of substance behind it. We all know they didn’t want to sell but the siblings are basically forcing them two, that doesn’t mean anything since they have put the club up for sale since then.
The fact they based this off of some mock sale to gauge a price to buy everyone else out only for that narrative to fall away yet still retain the fear of the Glazers staying angle is ridiculous
That's what common sense would suggest.I don't think they do want to stay, I think it's just a tactic to drive up the sale price. You're not exactly going to get the best deal if you appear desperate to leave.
Most journos are stealing a living with guesswork when it comes to transfers, but with this it’s a whole new level. They haven’t a clue and are tweeting the same speculative crap over and over.

Ben Jacobs last night on UnitedPeoplesTV said that any journalist quoting figures etc are simply just guessing. Quite an interesting listen/watch
Or we switch to another vendor, like Nike, New Balance, Under Armor, Puma, etc..
Teh Hag clearly approved Antony, these incompetent people you talk about gave the manager extra money because he had worked with him.
Also... love how you have ignored the questions about Lisandro... can you provide a source that says he could have been cheaper earlier in the summer, or you making it up?
When you want to understand something, why not try to search and find information about it?I’ve read the whole article and it was not mentioned at all that SJR would clear off United existing debt. You took one look at the title and decided for yourself that SJR would do just that. What a joke.

Don't pretend to know what you are talking about when you are too lazy to even try finding information.
Using strong words like "spread misinformation" may make you seem knowledgeable and authoritative, but don't make you such.
If the Glazers are that attached, they can just buy a season ticket

I’m not sure this is the slam dunk you make it out to be. Even at the end they’re talking about adding debt to the club for stadium etc.
They don't seem like they give crap what people think of them. I guess in business terms if they aren't been offered the amount they want it would be understandable to other businesses that they don't sell up.The Glazers surely can't go and stop the sale now and piss off a lot of people (not fans but mean others who would have bought the club). While I hate defending the Glazers, we did spend over 200 million this summer, we aren't a bottomless pit of money.Yeah after they basically said feck you to giving Erik money for Gakpo and loan fee for Felix, don't know the truth about why we didn't push harder for Nunez so won't include him

Do you think the board and shareholders at INEOS will absorb the Manchester United debt and expect no monetary return from doing so?
