F1 2023 Season

Well Aston's impressive form didn't last long.

We are pretty close to same scenario as the last year again, Red Bull dominance with Ferrari strong second(but nowhere near Red Bull at the same time), and fight for third position. Mercedes is very slow again.
 
Mercedes is slow, but that was shite lap from Hamilton. Didn't even improve his lap by much.

I thought they were improving and practise times seemed alright. Weird one for Hamilton to be in 13th
 
Thought Merc left it too late, just 2 mins left before a lap made but looking at the car over the corners and Russel's time perhaps it wouldn't have made that much difference.
 
Lots of mistakes from Hamilton too focused on playing basketball and other things this weekend.

Leclerc determined to destroy the new floor. Max is going to start P9.

Now tomorrow is going to be interesting.
 
That delay on the red flag has punished Max for messing his lap up. Alonso front row will be fun.

Seems fecked up that one guy makes a complete feck up, and that punishes everyone.
 
Leclerc fecked it up. The way he lost the rear end after the initial spin when he wanted to steer from the wall was amazing, just goes the show forces in F1.

At least it will be interesting race, he fecked uo Max.

He actually made it more interesting than we would get if all made their laps.

The nature of qualifying, it's why it's so important to get that banker lap in as you never know what's going to happen.
 
Dont know why the rest of the top 10 havent figured out they have to get out on track before Charles because he will invariably crash half a dozen Q3s per season.
 
Max getting fecked over here but that's racing. Perez being gifted P1 in the race and possibly in the standings here
 
Even though it mixes up the grid, I'd still like those on track to at least be allowed to run a full lap if someone crashes, there was one and half minutes left, they should be allowed an outlap and to finish. Sure Max should've got a banker lap in but Perez had two goes, Max just one due to a Ferrari crashing.

Yeah, for sure. I bet Max is just as annoyed with himself for making that mistake. It makes the race interesting tomorrow though.

I like Charles and think he's a great driver, but he's not elite for me. He has too many of them in him

No one is apart from Max tbf. Charles' biggest problem is that he wants to be quick as Max in far slower car and basically his every crash was pushing the car over the limit when chasing Red Bulls.

He's the best qualifier on the grid on his day but so many mistakes in him. The spotlight tailed off last season because the car gap kept growing and Ferrari were obviously a clown show, but some of his mistakes last season were horrendous for a championship contender.
 
Easy P4 for K-Mag! Perfectly set up for him to damage his front wing on lap 1 and drop to 16th tomorrow :drool:
