We're one of the most physically lacking teams in the league. Slow, weak. Not a good combo when you combine it with constant turnovers and the need for quick defensive transitions.

All it takes is one mistimed tackle, a lunge, having to make up for somebody else's mistake and being on the stretch, etc. There's loads of scenarios where somebody can pick up a second yellow. Especially in the position that he plays in.
