Why are there posters of the kidnapped up in London in the first place?
What would possess someone to rip them down?

London is such a cesspit. How can people have such little regard? A life Is a life. Ripping down posters of Israeli hostages is common practice

The rise of cancel culture? This term is honestly one of the most annoying things in recent years. That's obviously not the case given the rise of cancel culture, where people in free societies routinely get scrutinized and occasionally penalized for holding an opinion that doesn't meet the social norms of their society or the cultural norms of the organization they happen to work for. Neither have anything to do with freedom of speech, since they are allowed to say anything they want, and likewise, those sufficiently offended, have the same right to reject whatever is said.
I saw this shared by Kasparov, it may give some perspective on how this is perceived on a state level.
Though on the other hand the law often seems to take a back seat to self interest and strength anyway.
Nothing wrong with ripping down posters. Especially when they’re stuck on public property and in public spaces.
Also you’d rather people do that then this:
Whilst it could just be standard run of the mill Islamophobia, it could be linked to events in the Middle East.
Wife & three kids wiped out by an Israeli air strike.
I honestly couldn’t care less what you get up to in London, just like no one in authority will give two shits about these posters that are being put up and ripped down.So if I went round London ripping down posters of Palestinian children caught up in the conflict. That would be fine?
of course it wouldn't and I would never do that because I'm human.
if there was a missing person in London or a missing pet cat. Would you rip it down if it was on private property?
lets just call a spade a spade. These people do not care about deaths on the Israeli side and most likely sympathise with Hamas.
"One message in an internal company discussion, set up by a manager in the days after the Hamas attack in southern Israel, encouraged employees to “show Westernity” in social media posts backing Israel, as “unlike the Gazans, we look and live like Europeans or Americans”, it said."I get that argument. But when you work for an Israeli company and decide to call Israel a terrorist state on linkedin, you're certainly testing the limits.
Do you think the analysis is wrong? This Bellingcat guy seems to be saying the same thing.
Edit: Not actually a Bellingcat guy.
Easy, to pressure on the British government to aid ceasefire instead of aiding massacres of the Palestinian children. Why do you think pro-Palestinian rallies are in the city of London 2000+ miles away from the conflict?
He seems to be reasonably well thought of though, or at least gets cited in respectable publications. Aric Toler, the guy who broke for the NYT and is now employed by them was a Bellingcat guy as recently as last year. There's also this from GeoConfirmed who are another mob that seem to get their fair share of plaudits.
Looks to me like basically all of the independent OSINT locators that I initially looked at and who helped persuade me of the position of the "misfiring" rocket have now changed their own positions based on this one unknown bloke screaming about it for around a week while pointing to his own analysis:
I guess it's worth noting that the prevailing view among these guys remains that the explosion looks like it came from a rocket, but this is a primary piece of visual evidence that now (for me) has at least a large shadow of doubt above it.

Depends on how the ground offensive will go.Not really, more for allowing 7th October to happen.
My friend says there’s a real chance he might not last this war.
As I said a week or so ago. It's time to just give the Palestinians somewhere, like Crete or the Isle of Wight so they can live in peace and Israel can have Gaza/West Bank.
This is never ending until one side is gone unfortunately.

So just like you not caring about deaths on the Palestinian side and most likely sympathise with IDF. The absolute irony and shamelessness in your post.So if I went round London ripping down posters of Palestinian children caught up in the conflict. That would be fine?

Isn't it literally illegal to sympathise with Hamas? Why are people so seemingly afraid to admit they sympathise with either Hamas or Israel? There’s nothing wrong with having a position.
You can sympathise with Hamas and their militancy without condoning the 7th or a bunch of other stuff.
You can sympathise with Israel and the IDF without condoning terrorism in the West Bank and excess civilian deaths.
Well then.
Just so I’m clear - the video evidence used by these online analysts is now determined to be unrelated to the hospital bombing?
If that’s the case - what evidence is left that it was from inside Gaza? The crater size being smaller is one of it but what else?
Not really. It could be illegal in some places and may get you fired from your jobs. You can sympathise with Hamas and their militancy without condoning the 7th or a bunch of other stuff.
This is a bit safer option when compared to the first. You can sympathise with Israel and the IDF without condoning terrorism in the West Bank and excess civilian deaths.

Again, just to remind history started on October 7th.
Isn't it literally illegal to sympathise with Hamas?
You also can't sympathise with the IDF and object to what's going on in Gaza and the west bank.

Either way, he's well and truly finished. Israel isn't known for forgiving this kind of mistakes.
Golda Meir stepped down for "much less".

Edit: And you will be labelled as an anti-semite on this forum and in other places if you take the first option.
