Westminster Politics

Great news but, as usual with these things, I suspect her replacement will just out-evil and out-shit on the working class and less fortunate, her

Who should we pick to represent the UK on the international stage?

Why not the guy who was responsible for the greatest foreign policy disaster since Suez and didn't bother to stay around to help pick up the pieces.

Oh and he is getting a seat in Parliament for life. Brilliant.

Member of the Lords. It means he can only be questioned by other Lords and will avoid Commons scrutiny for his actions.

There will be a Junior FO Minister who handles Commons questions.

Aaaand that is how you avoid opposition scrutiny and accountability over foreign policy.

Baron Cameron for life. How is this democratic?

Cameron - WTF? I suppose it’s an attempt to move away from Tea Party antics and towards the less headbanger wing of the party and most others from that side were purged under Johnson 4 years ago.

So we’ve finally reached the point that they’ve burnt through so many MP’s in the last six years that they don’t have anyone left to fill the cabinet positions.

I for one am pleased to see the return of Balloon Face Man.

If you believe our two main political parties, the House of Lords is a crucial part of British democracy.

It sort of is - or something that stops the govt doing whatever it wants is. Doesn't have to be a load of wankers who are only in there due to the family they were born into though.

A man who set up a fake Tory fact check Twitter account and one of the most incompetent MPs going is Home Secetary.

Met him a couple of times and again a couple of months ago in Nigeria. Nothing between his ears.

Hey, that's not a nice thing to say about Boris Johnson's secret daughter.

Sacking Bravaman and hiring remainer David Cameron is going to incense the ERG further.

There’s surely not enough of the moderate Conservatives left post 2019 for them to make a pivot back to the centre for the sake of the next election?
Mental. They're absolutely desperate

His policies have said otherwise, if he had any backbone, he would never have appointed her in the first place. His Government have been full of toxic stuff since he's been PM. The right wingers wanted Truss, once he got in, he should have set his own Cabinet and actually tried to improve things.

I believe he and Hunt are both of the 'democracy' cadre, polite people with policy we disagree with, rather than the throw it on a bonfire populist one, but both lean far far right. Especially Hunt who seems shockingly libertarian and probably agreed with Truss a lot. Sunak hasn't really had a chance, he's been a dead man walking since day one. Think his shtick has just been to see out the term.

This is like that bit in the Beckham PR “documentary” at Madrid. Cameron has been doing laps of Downing Street just waiting to be called back in.

I thought Truss was as low as they could go... shoehorning a former PM into the lords because you literally hate every other choice is fecking bonkers.

Is this Rishi's play to either get booted out or call the election? I cannot see any other play for this?

Cruella out and Pig fecker in
