See if we could just pick the right pass when it presents itself we’d be doing some serious buisness. Problem is even when the players pick that pass they somehow screw it up.

There is a lot of good things happening but we just don’t seem to have anyone with the quality to find that pass. Hojlund makes good runs and more often than not no one seems to see them.
McT has had 4-5 chances to put someone in and turned away from it.

Yeah, I'm happy with that half. We haven't fallen apart and still in with a shot of getting a result. We've been pretty shit and Bayern a little lacklustre at times, not exactly a thrilling game but we don't need it to be. A dull 1-0 works.

Bayern with Tuchel has no bottle. Mediocre in defense, midfield and attack, neither good at pressing, neither fast in transition or controlling the ball. Relying on individuals to produce something. The faster he goes the better for Bayern.

We lack so much quality. That midfield with McTominay and Amrabat is just a battering ram and nothing else. They have no idea what to do with the ball. Bruno is the only one showing any real quality in the front six. Garnacho has to improve his decision making so much, he’s constantly down blind alleys. Antony has been okay, but that’s the most generous I can be.

Willing and hard working performance but a desperate lack of quality. I’d kill to have Mainoo and Eriksen on the pitch, simply because they can pick a pass. We are on a knife edge. Having to work so hard to close down in midfield because we are throwing bodies forward without a plan. Eventually Bruno or McTominay won’t track back fast enough, and they’ll waltz right through the middle. You can see it coming. There’s only so many lung busting runs the two of them can do to get back into position. One has to sit deeper.

Shaw has been pretty poor. There's goals for them if they continue down our left. Not sure where ours are coming from right now but you feel like there's mistakes in the Bayern team. We need to minimise their chances though as they'll score eventually.

For all of you blaming it all on our managers, today you can see clearly that our players are simply not good enough. We only have tier 2-3 players, good for europa league at best. A symptom of a crappy system starting from the owners all the way down to the youth teams, including executives, scouts, players themselves etc

Bayern is barely trying, but their defenders are just too good for our attackers. And by attackers I mean Garnacho because the rest has not even been threatening.

Are they? I thought they would be until I heard they got twatted worse than us at the weekend so I'm guessing Tuchel is on the verge of being sacked and Bayern are in a dire crisis making this a must win, their most important game ever.

Issue for Hojlund is both their CBs are fine against a big man - you need to put someone, dare I say it, like a Rashford/Martial on Kim because he's a bit of a Maguire fridge type player. That or just have Hojlund come super wide to drag one of them out and make some room for McT's runs through.

They are just happy to sit off and then counter us, we are scared to take too many risks as a we're out if we concede realistically.

There's such a massive difference in the speed and quality of the passing, movement and ball control from the Bayern players.

Utd passing is just too slow, bobbly, first touches are sloppy. Not enough pace around the pitch either.
