It is relevant. Because if you want to be a top team, you need world class players. And if you spend 80 million on a player, you expect a world class player, or near that.
    No point arguing.

I've been saying the same thing for weeks. We don't judge the price tag of a player if he's young apparently. We could sign a player for 200 mill but if he's under 21 we have no right to criticise his performances or why he was signed in the first place.

I said on the Bournemouth thread I can see ETH getting sacked before Xmas

The Bournemouth embarrassment, now we are almost certainly going out the CL, with Anfield at the weekend...

Can’t even avoid defeat at home in a must-win game with only one shot on target in the entire match.

Why would you take your best centre back off? It has to be for Amrabat or McTominay

That is rubbish. Do you actually believe that Levy would refuse 120 mil offer? Refuse to earn 20 million euros more than he did?
Yes. I do believe that. He wouldn't sell to a direct PL rival, and I'm sure being United makes it even worse. And we don't even know if Kane wanted to come to this circus - and even if he did we'd probably manage to turn him into the pale Carlton Cole in a matter of weeks.

Onana has played his part in knocking United out of Europe however tonight I'd be looking more at the woeful effort of the midfielders trying to tackle in the build up and Wan Bissaka playing the goal scorer onside.
Without Onana it wouldn't matter about tonight....it wouldn't even be worth watching, it would be a nothing game between two teams who had qualified.

    Onanas mistakes are the reason.

Of course, they went in with full strength team but they are not trying, sure mate. Of course they didn't have to, but you can clearly see Tuchel wants the win here badly after the embarrassing defeat in the league.
You can clearly see they can go up a gear at any time and played lax as feck ‘mate’. The game as been played like a friendly where neither team needs to win. I don’t even know how you can deny that

Wtf was he supposed to do there?

Was always going to more likely end in a goal but he he come forward off his line and narrows the angle he gives himself a chance. Instead he is just stuck deciding and basically falls backwards.

De Gea, moves a few yards forward there.

All the effort to get back into the Champions League, just to go out at the first opportunity.

They went up a gear and immediately scored. We are definitely the worst team in the group.
We are the worst team in the CL this season 1 win and 4 defeats ….ETH must be sacked tonight, he’s bought shite, can’t coach shite and talks more shite than any modern coach in the game!

Eth for me is going this season I said so 8 games into the league campaign. The only thing that might keep him is the situation with Ratcliffe being delayed.

Amazing how bad this squad is given the money spent. Anyone involved with transfers should be sacked once Ratcliffe gets in.

Kane heads at goal and Amrabat looks the other way to where the ball is going. he must be crap at spot the ball

We know. Every pundit, media and reliable journo reported that Kane is interested.

Hojlund seems a bit of passenger a d it seems he is becoming a ghost in matches. Not getting many chances in a match and perhaps confidence is low?

We need so e Glazer OUT chants!

there’s no service to him at all.. he looks the same as Ronaldo did in his last few months with us, feeding off scraps, there’s just no ballers in the team that know how to craft a goal
