Maguire? Understand him resting Varane, but I'm never confident seeing that man on the team sheet.

Maguire back! Hopefully he carry’s on the form he had before his injury. Need to be careful of Bowen and Kudus.

He's been good this season. Given how poor we were defensively vs Newport and Wolves, he deserves to come back in the team.

That is United's strongest lineup, with everyone fit.

Has been said before, but result aside, there can't be excuses for the performance.
Yes agreed. You could see the difference over 90mins with the players coming back. Have to see a good performance today as well.

There were a fair few freak goals across the two games also, and obviously the Onana factor. Rather than it being a CB partnership issue. Maguire is just asking for trouble, he always has blunders in him.

Just hope it’s the same Maguire we seen before he got injured and not the absolute calamity we’ve came to know the last 2 years. Other than that good line up.

Good team. A bit worrying the bench doesn't have a recognised striker.

When we inevitably sub one of the wingers off I really hope we give Amad a chance.

February 4th and 35 year old Jonny can finally rest as 5th choice CB not even making the bench

Good team, glad to see we've been mostly able to stick with the same team that at least have us a very good first half last game. Hopefully will be able to carry the momentum of the late winner into this.

Maguire for Varane is no surprise considering what we know about how fragile Varane is with too many games. You could argue Maguire deserves to be in there anyway due to his firm pre injury. Hopefully we see more of that Maguire today.

Was hoping to see Bayindir tested but I don't think it's ever going to happen when Onana is available.

I’d usually agree but He was excellent before he got injured.

I think the excellent claim is a bit much. He played fine but since it is Maguire it was elevated to 'excellent'. Im fine with Maguire in the team now, seeing his name on the teamsheet doesnt cause instant dread anymore like it did during a certain time.

Maguire seems useful against West Ham too.

So the only change to our shaky back line is Varane out, Maguire in. Onana who is without doubt a disaster zone remains. What is Ten Hag thinking. Onana I S. N O T. G O O D. E N O U G H.

Oh look, the hammers have the same idiotic numerical lineup tweets that we have. :wenger:

Can we get Areola to be our GK? I thought he was one of the brightest prospect few years back. Not a high bar to be better than our current first choice.

I posted this in player forum and did not get a response. What is happening with AWB? Not even making the bench. Seems odd to me,

Yep seeing his name each time makes my heart sink, he makes me nervous never mind his defenders. At least give Bayindir a try, it may be he's not good enough either. Guess who signed both...
