Keep forgetting about this guy with all the Tevez hype.

Just wondered, what does everyone actually KNOW about him?

I hear hes the next this and the next that etc, but dont actually know a great deal about him.

It seems hes likely not to play much for us, but surely if hes as good as they say hes worth a shout?

I think this should be in the United forum as he is a United player.

For the record I have seen him last season during the Amsterdam Tournament. He was playing against Inter (I think) and was pretty much their main playmaker. A classical playmaker with great vision and good skills on the ball. He really troubled the opposition defence a lot with his running and passing. Was my MOTM that day.

However, when he played for Brazil in the Copa, he was disappointing to say the least. I have no idea what the problem was but he was clearly not playing to his best. He has had a forgettable Copa America so far and I do not see him playing in the final.

But he definitely has the physical presence to succeed in the Premiership. Unlike Veron, who was a bit lazy at time, Anderson is very hardworking. I reckon he can be a great player for United.

He didn't play like the best player in the world in one match in Copa America after coming back from a bad injury.

So he is shit as I have heard. He is also really slow.

Anderson - Very universal player, it has to be said...

Except defending, he's quality in every other skills and tasks on the pitch.

If You tell him to attack, he will make couple of good passes that will lead to a score chance, or he will just get the ball and run as fast as Cristiano Ronaldo with keeping ball close to his feet, straight to opponent's box.

If You tell him to be a playmaker, he will use more of his long passes which are simply effective. Just like Carlitos Tevez, he can hold the ball to his feet and wait for backup, then pass directly.

He's not selfish like Ronaldo in his first seasons at Old Trafford and that can make him the best player in the world... A player biased on attacking, but with great vision, just like Scholesy, but we all know that Anderson have speed of a quality winger.

There's not many quality left-footed players, so I think that's another advantage of Anderson.

You can play him as attacking midfielder, second striker behind and a left winger. Paradise of options for smart & experienced manager. :)

It was a perfect time to sign Anders... 1-2 seasons more and Milan, Real or God forbid - Chelsea would ask for him, surely.

Funny really Tevez is overshadowing Nani and Anderson yet Tevez, Nani and Anderson are overshadowing the fact that we already have Rooney and Ronaldo

Things are good at the moment aint they

He seems to be mature for his age. It's good he's come out and accepted he'll be on the bench a bit this season. I think he's been unfortunate this copa america for two reasons. One is he's clearly out of shape fitness wise and the other is when he did play brazil as a group they played poorly. If Dunga put Anderson in now, maybe with the training he's been doing we'd see a better performance but I think just the maturity is great - it's one of the reasons he's a team player. I've seen clips but you'd think it's exciting to think that rooney, Tevez, Rossi, Ronaldo, nani, anderson could be an attacking force for the next ten years however unlikely.

I think I read some of the players urged fergie to by him after playing against him a season or 2 ago. The last person fergie bought because the team told him to was a certain mr Ronaldo only time will tell

We played against him last year in the Amsterdam tournie.

Is that good?

Under Han Solo's command, the Falcon became a famous starship, completing the Kessel Run at unprecedented speeds. Solo and his first mate Chewbacca maintained the Falcon, constantly modifying and tinkering with it, coaxing the maximum speed from the ship.

Anderson can fly on the end of galaxy and return to earth in one day.

It's God damn good !!!
