Anderson

I think this should be in the United forum as he is a United player.

For the record I have seen him last season during the Amsterdam Tournament. He was playing against Inter (I think) and was pretty much their main playmaker. A classical playmaker with great vision and good skills on the ball. He really troubled the opposition defence a lot with his running and passing. Was my MOTM that day.

However, when he played for Brazil in the Copa, he was disappointing to say the least. I have no idea what the problem was but he was clearly not playing to his best. He has had a forgettable Copa America so far and I do not see him playing in the final.
But he definitely has the physical presence to succeed in the Premiership. Unlike Veron, who was a bit lazy at time, Anderson is very hardworking. I reckon he can be a great player for United.

3 goals in his entire club career 2 for Porto and 1 for Gremio, absolute wank for the so called future world player of the year! :( We should have signed Maluda or Bable!

Yeh and you thinking Die Hard 4.0 was entertaining says everything to me!

Prick!

He played twice in the Copa America, both times for 45 mins. He came on at half time for one game and played really well when Brazil were playing like shite, showing good vision and making direct and incisive passes. He was then started in the next game and played like shite, giving the ball away and not putting in much effort. I don't think he was fully fit for either game though. So from the two times I've really judged him (keeping in mind he wasn't fit), he has ability but is inconsistent...but so are most young players.

he is not stupid enough to join liverpool... i'm pretty sure he will be joining either real madrid or barcelona.. his agent must have already received some interest from one of these clubs for him to be tempted.. he know that at 29 this could be his chance to try the spanis league - and last chance for united to cash in on him...

From the little I have seen of him he looks an excellent prospect. Very skilful, quick and looks quite strong. His direct running will be agreat asset.

I personally think its a bit unfair to judge him solely on the Copa America. As a 19 year old he's always going to struggle with the pressure and expectation of filling the boots of Ronaldinho and Kaka - especially sice he's just moved to one of the biggest clubs in the world and all eyes were on him.
His poor performance also owes a lot to Dunga's negative tactics and playing him out of position.

For me its important that he's played in Europe at such a young age and by all accounts had rave reviews in Portugal. I think he'll take time to settle but he'll do well for us.
