Arsenal vs Manchester United

We probably didn't deserve to win the game, but we should have won it. I'm really dissapointed by our defense, shaky all the game. O'Shea cost us as well as our infamous tactic of playing pragmatistic football when we're up against good opponents.

Some of ya'll sound like spoiled brats. We'd be damn well celebrating a late home equalizer against Arsenal. So would the players.

Maybe in the heat of the moment sure, but at the end of the day as a title challenger you'd expect and want nothing less than a win at home against a rival.

Arsenal were pretty shaky at the back too.

feck off, we should have won, our defending let us down.

Great match from both sides and respect to Arsenal for fighting all game and playing good attacking football. That's the way the game is supposed to be played.

That said, I can't wait until we play them at Old Trafford because we certainly won't be as forgiving...

just saw the replay of the arse first goal brown was standing right behind fag doing nothing

Lets put this into perspective now.
Whoever gets a late goal in a score draw is always the happier team but thats just through pure emotion.

Look at it without any emotion and its a decent result. We did play poorly and created little going forward, but how many clear chances did they have?

Rooney could have scored with the header in the 2nd half, its swings and roundabouts.

The main downer on Arsenal pulling it level is that when Carrick and Saha came on we looked comfortable - then a nightmare bit of defending lets Gallas in for the leveler. Its a shame, but as the home team the were always going to be driving forward to the death. Rather it be a later leveller then them nicking a late winner like last season.

Shit result, I don't buy the argument about it being a great result at Emirates.

It's a massive morale boost for Arsenal to equalize in the last minute, they will probably go on a 15-in-a-row unbeaten run now.

Surprised we got away with a draw. OTOH disappointed that we didn't play with confidence from the start. Could've been a different game entirely.

Our defence was a let down today. I think we were found out way to mmuch. Brown was not good enough and i just think we shouldnt have conceded the way we did as far as i am concerned. Fact we were 2-1 up is a bit of a sickenner but point is a point and we will kill them at OT.

if they win their game in hand it's three points....big if

i am content

It was evident we missed the Ginger one in the centre to dictate the tempo of the game.

As a neutral I have to say I enjoyed the match and feel Arsenal just about shaded it. I know it was an away game for your lot but was expecting a bit more going forward. Both teams are so evenly matched that maybe the 'home' and 'away' thing shouldn't have mattered, but I guess this might be two points dropped for you in the end.

One thing...is Anderson always this fecking awful? A fairly average player when compared to who else was on show today.

Gutted, bloody gutted. I was 1 minute 28 seconds off winning £460. 1-2 Rooney to score first.
All the Arsenal fans in my local shook my hand after the game I was so close.

I would have settled for a draw before the game.

Unlucky with the bet, best of luck next time!

I'm quite disappointed and i'll like to point out a few negatives

We didnt have the spell of possesion on the final lthird of the pitch we usually have, not even once,we hardly moved the ball around the midfield.

Anderson for all his amazing work defensively played only a few passes forward today.Hargreaves clearly lacked match sharpness and Vidic lacks pace.

Ronaldo can be contained quite easily if he's up against a fast left back(not saying he won't be deadly in front of goal)but he hardly has time to dribble.

We can't expect Tevez to run around and be in defender's throats every game.O'shea as good as versatile can be is positionally clueless.

Overall we would have ran them ragged if we played with more confidence and believed in our abilities abd that's why i'm frustrated.

You'd have been more gutted about your bet if you wentto collect and the the bastard bookies said rooney's goal was an og. Just happened a friend of mine. he had rooney to score first as a single bet and is losing out on roughly the same amount as you. i've looked it up and skysports say og, the official prem lge site doesn't have anything yet. anyone know how to find out officially...

were you watching the same match???

he was our best player I thought....
and yes they did shade it...I felt we were overly cautious....but we were silly with 3 minutes to go....shoudl ahve taken the ball to the corner flag...and made them 'foul' us all we could...

Have to admit to not having seen him play much for your lot, and was probably hoping for something a bit special. What I saw was a 'Giggs-wannabe', who should have been booked for flashing an imaginary yellow card, and then for feigning injury. Okay, he had to do some defending today...but I guess I was watching a different game!:)
