3 points, but that was woeful. We better shrug ourselves out of this bad spell, we've been lucky over the past few weeks.
Foster was tested today like never before... Good job, even when he made some mistakes by kicking the ball somewhere, he can continue improving with a good match with clean sheet.

We started the game superbly. Created chances galore, ripped them to pieces but couldnt score. Our frustration grew and we started to become a bit complacent in our play. Finally, a moment of brilliance between Rooney and Ronaldo gave us the victory we deserved.
From now on will some of you guys stop underestimatng teams? You wrote off Derby before the match had even started and we nearly were punished for the arrogance of the fans. I predicted a 1-0 win for us and look what happened. Ive seen us struggle against small teams like them far too many times. You cant take anything for granted with us. Treat your opposition with respect until the game is over.

Well to be honest, I never saw him play but I'm sure that GREAT man didnt have a complete blinder in every single appearance either.

Giggs is'nt having his best season, but he has been a great servant for this club for over a decade.
But Giggs is as if he's being carried by Sir Alex. With such performance he shouldn't play. Also when you have the appearence AND the goalscoring record, it means that most of the time and till the end he was quite important for the team.

The only reason this game was 1-0 is our desperate form in front of goal atm. Did you predict we would bombard their goal and still only score once? To come on this forum after the game and blame the fans for this game being close in scoreline only seems over the top for me.
This wasnt a typical tight 1-0 win. It was a wide open chances galore from one team 2-3 chances for the other team. In the end the team who played better and created more chances won the game. That didnt happen against pompey but it did today.
But your right the positives are that we won and we go on now with the title in our hands. As longs as we keep winning its ours.

I do agree with you mate. I hope Giggs starts to pull the performances together, hes my favourite United player of all time and he certainly deserves the record for what hes done for the club but I certainly dont want to see him take the appearances record in the form he is in now.
