was tevez playing today then?
another chance to narrow the gap wasted
Well, not a classic encounter and very few would have predicted 0 -0.
Spurs deserved a point IMO and defended well despite no first choice CB pairing. You lot had more possession (and controlled the game more) but didn't do a great deal with it, but Spurs also created a fair few chances to win.
In short it's a game that could have gone either way in a tight game. Dawson and Gomes were our best two players today.
I'm reasonably happy with a point - it consolidates our recovery this season - and in a sense continues it.
That was crap...
There's no positive...
We are not competing against Liverpool or Arsenal to care if they drop points.
It's Chelski our main rival... and I hate to admit it but we just don't play like champions should...
I am only hoping that Scolari will lose it at some point...
FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCKKKK
There was more urgency when Scholesy came on, and I was more optimistic. I dread the days he won't be an option anymore.
Also, how bad are we at set-pieces. We had 12(?) corners and only once were we half a threat.
That's a bit biased in my view ..... Spurs also came close to scoring a few times. For example: I thought Modric's shot was in for a split second, Bentley came close twice but for two great saves from VDS, and Huddlestones's bullet may well have been a goal if Pavlyuchenko hadn't been pole-axed by it.we deserved to win in the 2nd half, we just have no luck at all.

Yes, you had more possession and controlled more of the game, but there's no denying that Spurs defended well and could have taken all 3 points themselves

Says a lot about the difference between us really. You were at home & played on the counter. We played quite poorly (without 2 of our best players), but still dominated & deserved a win.Dawson and Gomes were our best two players today.
