Derby County Vs Manchester United

This is fecking terrible

What a waste of 90 minutes of my life

Shite

agree. 105 mins I will never get back from my life.

Im ashamed of United tonight. Not because we lost but because of how we have played. Such arrogance.... we deserve this humilaition.

fecking BOLLOX

Way over... oh well, it's the CC and United will turn them over in the second leg. Silver lining: at least this isn't a league loss to some bottom table side. And it's not a CL first leg.

I can't wait for the Derby pitch invasion, commemorative mugs, Kris Commons statue etc.

They've just beat the English & European Champions. They deserved it, they played brilliant and we played shite. But now they have to come to Old Trafford with a very slender lead and they'll not get it as easy I think.

game raising cnuts

Not at all. Derby are average at best. We could have swatted them aside with ease if our players had been bothered. Pathetic display from us, absolutely terrible.

If anything, tonight our players were game lowering cnuts

appalling display, hopefully the buck stops here this season.

and lets not forget that they'll be riding high from Cloughie arriving for the return leg!

time to start playing football like Manchester United again!!! and sidelining ANYONE who doesn't aid that happening asap.

meh. No reason to panic. it´s only half-time, we´ll smash them at Old Trafford.

I can't accept us losing to a team with Carroll, Teale and Todd in it.

yep, thats about the best summation of our impotent performance tonight... and the crazy thing is I have no idea where such a performance came from. It is one of the worst performances I have seen in my 26 years as a United fan.

If we play like this against Chelsea we will be murdered. MURDERED!

However, if Chelsea play like they did against Southend it might just be a draw.

If tonight's anything to go by, we'll need a bigger sideline.

well, that was utter shite in all honesty.

Lets hope we are up for the second leg.

theres no excuse for how fecking shitty we played

yes it was embarassing only because the wages these players make. Its clear to me that they were only going through the motions and feel that they will do them by more then 1 goal at OT.

It was little more then a runout from my vantage point

agree, taking nothing away from Derby.

But I think we lost this one because we were to arrogant and got caught out. I have no doubt we will roll them over at OT but Im so so so so so angry :o:nono: about this performance. It was NOT Manchester United.

I just want to respond to those who think that the first half team should have won easily without the help of Rooney and Ronaldo. That is just a lack of realism and a disrespect for the other team ! When we aren't good, we aren't good, period. There is no need to come here and expect United to easily win every game whatever the lineup is. Some posts here are really weak and full of nonsense.

Once again from the top....we will have a whole different team out against Chelsea (bar Vidic). PIG, Rafael, Evans, O'Shea, Anderson, Nani, Tevez, Gibson - somehow I don't think they'll all be playing against Chelsea.

Ronaldo & Rooney only got the last half hour and Carrick must have only got 15-20 minutes. They'll play on Sunday, Evra will be back and possibly Rio. VDS will be back in nets, Park will most likely play and Berbatov will partner Rooney up front. Somehow I can't see those players doing as badly as this lot tonight.

Absoulte shite. Cannot deny that the team put out was a weak team. You had Anderson, Scholes, Tevez, Nani, Vidic all starting with Rooney, Ronaldo and Carrick coming on. Just did not look bothered....as if they felt they just had to turn up to win.

Saying that though, Miles Addison for Derby played a blinder. I have not seen a midfield bullied/hassled like that by a 19 year old. One to watch.

It's done now, I'm disappointed and I'm sure you are but that's it, just let it go as it's over now. No amount of giving off or effing & blinding will change tonight. They come to us with a slender 1-0 lead and I can't see us playing at OT like we did tonight. Derby deserved it tonight and anybody who says otherwise are in denial.

They deserved their win tonight, they played with composure for the whole match - definitely with a lot more composure than us anyway. After tonight I've made my mind up that:

1. Gibson on the right is a no-no
2. Scholes Anderson in a 4-4-2 is best avoided
3. PIG isn't going to be VDS replacement

I know it's only the CC & we'll do em in the return, but those who made the trip to watch that shite should get in to the second leg for nowt.

Well done to Derby, they deserved it. Thing that annoyed me most last night was that Utd never once looked like they controlled the match or were in with a chance of winning. But again, well done to Derby, the shitebags.

Derby deserved their win. Makes the second game sorta interesting.

At last, honesty.
Derby played fecking well, much better than their league position indicates.
SAF played a team which should have won or at least drawn on paper, but this was a revived Derby County. their last game under their manager before Nigel Clough takes the helm, and the players give their all for him and Nigel.
We ended up with a respectable team out there but they were flying by then, and we left the subs too late!

We will have to perform against them if we want to play spurs in the final, 11 men behind the ball at OT, same old same old.. 3 strikers?
