want to see a great performance by berba
If Taarabt and Modric play...they could rip us apart.
Modric is my favourite player outside United, and Taarabt has unbelievable talent.
Modric > Fabregas
Taarabt > Ronaldo
I agree with the first one.
[I've edited this post because I made a mistake before: Defoe is in fact eligible.]Spurs should just forfeit the game, they clearly have no interest in winning it. ...
Bloody hell. The idiocy of Scholesy knows no bounds. How does he even manage to wash or feed himself![]()
Surely not...want to see a great performance by berba
I don't think that's true. The team that plays will be a reflection of the fact that the following huge list of players are either ineligible or injured to the point where most (if not all) won't play:
Gomes, Hutton, Corluka, Woodgate, King, Dawson, Lennon, O'Hara, Palacios (inelegible), Jenas, Modric, Defoe (inelegible), Bent and Campbell (inelegible).
That's 14 players, the majority of which would normally be in our starting XI. It includes 4 of our our best back 5 (including the GK), probably all of our best midfield 4, and at least one of our normally starting strikers. It leaves Spurs with just two players from our strongest XI: Ekotto and Pavlyuchenko.
As bad as Man. Utd's list of missing players is, I'd venture that's it's nothing like as extensive.
Our defence is just as bad. Not only are we missing three of our first choice four, but most of the back-ups are also injured. And their back-ups as well.As bad as Man. Utd's list of missing players is, I'd venture that's it's nothing like as extensive.
i had a dream last night that we won 3 v 0, Del Piero got a hattrick
We've got more injuries/doubts but less ineligible players.
Of course, the key to avoiding problems with ineligible players is to sort your squad out in the summer.
Fergie won't rest Vidic - he'll want to win this one. I predict (not want, but predict):
--------------------------------VdS--------------------------------
Neville--------Vidic------------------O'Shea---------Fabio
---------------Carrick------------------Scholes----------------
Ronaldo---------------------------------------------------Tosic
-----------------Tevez------------Berbatov---------------------
Bench: Foster, Chester, Fletcher, Giggs, Gibson, Welbeck, Macheda
This game is on ITV 1 coverage starts at 4:55pm.
I was about to ask if anyone knew - thanks

I made a mistake listing Defoe as ineligible, when actually he's not. That makes things a little better for Spurs since, unless we choose to play with a 5-man midfield, he could start up front with Pavlyuchenko.Agree Glaston, hopefully we'll shaft your guys though.

Don't think it will happen, but I'd go for:
Foster,
O'Shea, Neville, Vidic, Fabio
Fletcher, Carrick, Giggs
Ronaldo, Berbatov, Tevez
Subs:- VDS, Chester, Eckersley, Scholes, Possebon, Welbeck, Macheda
Hopefully Eckersley starts, he has shown enough in his runouts in reserves to suggest he can do the job.
Hopefully Fabio starts, so we can all make twin jokes.
VIVA DA SILVA, Running down the pitch, don't know which is which, VIVA DA SILVA.
