Gonna miss this one live but it'll be a good one to watch when i'm home from work.

Foster
Rafael-Vidic-Evans-Evra
Ronaldo-Gibson-Fletcher-Nani
Tevez-Rooney

I want to be nice a put Welbeck in there... Can't see it.

Reckon we'll nick it.

------------------- Foster ----------------------
Rafael ------ Vidic ------ Evans ------ O'Shea
feck knows ------- Gibson --- Anderson ----- Nani
------------- Tevez ------ Welbeck -----------

Team should be...

GK: Foster

RB: Rafael
CB: Vidic
CB: Evans
LB: O'Shea

RM: Ronaldo
CM: Fletcher
CM: Gibson
LM: Nani

CF: Welbeck
CF: Tevez

Subs: PIG, Fabio, Scholes, Anderson, Possebon, Park, Rooney

Hope Anderson is fit enough to get a place on the bench, obviously if Rafael doesn't make it Fabio should come in with O'Shea at RB again

Going for 2-1 to UTD, Ronaldo and Tevez for us. Pavlewhatshisname for them

Here's hoping for many goals ....

Tottenham are little more than an average team. I'd rather face them in the final than, say, West Ham or Fulham.

How nice to be in a cup final. Hopefully we can make this an occasion to remember. Our young players have done well to get us this war and should be rewarded for that. Mix in some first teamers and we should have a strong enough team to win on the day.

I would agree but the only thing I'd change is Park on the wing and Welbeck on the bench. Hopefully get ahead by a goal or two, then maybe bring him on to give him a run out in a cup final. I know the young lads have done well getting here but this is the final, I want to win it now so that's why I'd go for the pairing of Rooney and Tevez up front.

If Rafael is fit enough (any news?) then be great to see both the Da S's flying down the wings!

We should play a mix. Tevez and Welbeck upfront, maybe Rooney on the wing. Seeing as Rooney only played 10 mins for some odd reason today, I would liek to see him start in the final. Maybe even put Wellbeck to the right...did well vs Tottenham in FA Cup (I believe).

Rafael. Vidic. Evans. Oshea

PIG shouldn't play. I always feel we may let in a goal when he plays. He doesn't dominate the area like VDS does, or Foster tries to do.

He never comes for crosses that would help out the defence.

He's decent at reflex saves but a good goalkeeper should be so much more.

Ronaldo will play because he wants to play every game. Rooney will play because it's a good game to get some more match fitness. Tevez SHOULD play. Dunno about the others, but I guess Nani will be given a chance too.

The Quintuple is still ON after yesterday's result and performance - let's keep it going and win our second trophy this season ;)
Personally I think Foster, Rafael (if fit), Evans, O'Shea, Gibson, Nani and Tevez are certain starters. SAF mentioned those who helped us getting to the final will play on Sunday, so there are several questions left, e.g. who partners Evans at centre-back. My guess/wish would be something like this:

Foster
Rafael - Vidic - Evans - O'Shea
Ronaldo - Gibson - Anderson - Nani
Giggs
Tevez

subs: PIG, Fabio, Scholes, Carrick, Fletcher, Welbeck, Rooney

Not sure about Ronaldo and Anderson though... Ronaldo will most likely want to play, but we need him in full fitness mid-week against Newcastle. Anderson just came back from injury, so there is another question mark. SAF might chooce Scholes over Giggs though which is fine for me as well.
We'll win - Tottenham miss a few important players and they looked terrible against Hull on Monday. I expect Redknapp to field the following team:

Bent - Pavlyuchenko
Modric - Zokora - Jenas - Lennon
Assou-Ekotto - Woodgate - Dawson* - Corluka
Gomes

* Can King play two games in the space of six days?

According to this http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...foul-but-Sir-Alex-Ferguson-backs-referee.html

"seven changes for Carling Cup Final promised"

----------- Van Der Sar-------------
-Rafael--- Evans----Vidic--- Evra---
-Ronaldo---Anderson---Gibson---Nani--
------ Rooney -- Tevez-------------

Substitutes : Giggs, Scholes, O'Shea, Welbeck, Possebon

2-0 to United with Evans scoring and Anderson breaking his duck-egg... FINALly...

hm... I guess Evans, O'Shea, Ronaldo and Giggs will stay in the team.

And none of them will play against Newcastle I reckon.

Good thing we have a bit of cushion in the league, we can rest one or 2 before the Inter second leg.

--------------------Foster--------------------

--Sheasy--------Vidic------Evans-------Fabio--

--Nani----------Gibson--Scholes-------Ronaldo--

---------------Wellbeck----Tevez---------------

Subs: kuzczak, rio, possebon, ecksersley, rooney, fletcher, Carrick
Predcition:2-1 win Tevez, Vidic

Foster

Rafael
Vida
Evans
O'Shea

Ronaldo
Gibson
Fletcher
Nani

Rooney
Tevez

PIG; Fabio, Rio; Anderson, Possebon; Berba, Welbeck

2-0 Rooney and Nani with the goals.. alternatively Ando and Evans to score

Evans has to be a doubt does he not, needed an injection before the inter match and was limping at the end

Not guaranteed Evans will start - he's still carrying an injury and with other defensive players out: Neville, Rafael, Brown & O'Shea still carrying an injury - SAF might play safe with defensive players.

Foster

Rafael Ferdinand Vidic Fabio

Ronaldo Anderson Gibson Nani

Tevez Rooney

Subs:
TK
Evra
O'Shea
Scholes
Fletcher
Wellbeck
Berbatov

Perhaps!

I reckon Gibson and maybe PIG/Foster will be the only fringe players playing in the final. There might be a makeshift RB (probably OShea) if the injuries are still bad there

I'd much rather want us to win at Newcastle on Wednesday, so I hope Ferguson gives the likes of Carrick, Ronaldo, Scholes, Berbatov, Ferdinand and Evra a well deserved break.

No pissing about, let's win this thing.

No point in getting there just to lose.

Good team out with a FEW inexperienced players....ie Welbeck, who played well on right vs Spuds in Fa cup, and Gibson who SAF has promised a place too.

COME ON UNITED

I think this line-up may be pretty close to the actual one. But Fergie may surprise both us and them.
