Manchester United Vs Liverpool

Like I said earlier in this thread, Sometimes it's good with a big defeat, it hurts but now the players got to reignite that fighting spirit again....

Lets hope after that pathetic result that Alex Ferguson goes ballistic and rips the players new arseholes as we have been riding our luck for a while and that our players take a good look at themselves as well, whilst losing to Liverpool is painful there is no shame in it when on the day they are better but from what I was reading on commentary we played shit.

Lets hope that this is the kick up the arse that we need to go on and win the league and draw level with Liverpool.
The thing is they didn't even play well. Two mistakes for the first two goals, a decent free kick and another mistake. It was almost as if we thought we've just got to turn up today to get a win. And the very worst of it was the way we just capitualted at the end at 3-1. I've never seen that, 10-15 minutes to go at OT and it felt like Rooney was the only one really trying.

Look Everyone Let them gloat they have earned it. For this week they beat Real Madrid 4-0 and us at OT 4-1. Hell we would be gloating if we did the same.

Its only ONE game in a 38 game season

This will be going out in the mail today

To Whatever Twat it may concern,

LFC are invited to Old Trafford Stadium to witness the crowning of Manchester United as the English Champions for the 18th time. As LFC is the only other team to reach such heights we (MUFC) feel that it would be in the best interest of the sport for you to attend. Call it passing the torch from a former great english club to the greatest Football Club in the world.

United has obliged your theiving fans by gifting you a 4-1 win at OT so that they may feel more safe as they travel to the theater of dreams on this most glorious day. The Greater Manchester Police department has notified the locals to lock thier doors in advance of your attending this event.

Would you take that rubbish somewhere else?

It's that complacency that has cost us today that was a gutless performance, sickening to watch. We still have a lot to do if we're going to win it.

we lost both games to Citeh last year right?

yeah it hurt....but SAF will lift the team...

Exactly people seem to believe that this will deflate the team and while it will there is no man better then picking them up and getting us going again - I saw something today Ronaldo (or i think it was him it was as they were going into the tunnel) putting a arm around one of our players today to get him to cheer up so we still have the team spirit there which is good to see even in a defeat like this to our rivals.

Also isnt it weird when we see to beat 10 men people are quick to pull this fact up i was listening to the radio and no one has said "against 10 men United" or even said "but the champions had Vidic sent off at 1-2" its just Liverpool Trash United to win the PS... O wait they didnt - but they were celebrating like... but they didnt

The score, the empty seats, the sponsorship of time itself!

Thoroughly depressing.

700 mile round trip for that. Shit happens. Wake up call as far as I'm concerned. I wouldn't have wanted to be in that dressing room after the final whistle. We were crap on the day. Simple, get over it. We've still got a 4 point lead with a game in hand.

IMO the fans departing in their droves was an embarrassment. No matter what the result, I will always stay to applaud our players off the pitch. The scenes on Saturday make you wonder how many would actually turn up if we went on a run of these results.

Hope all the scouse shit and any Manchester United fans who have forgotten although Liverpool got lucky on Saturday we are still champions of the World,Europe and England and guess what, will still be this time next year.God help Liverpool the next time we meet,so I advise Liverpool fans to enjoy their pathetic little week while it lasts
