Second I saw Evans was coming out for Neville I said to myself this is a defensive line that Porto can tear to shreds. And they did. Gut wrenching goal.
Really a draw was the fairest result in this match. We're going to need a fantastic performance at Porto to move through. In the mean time, we need to remember how to defend. Rio getting fit again would definitely be helpful.

Funny enough i thought the same - pre-match i said here i believe we would be poor tonight but will come good away, however theres something truely wrong with the team at the moment and we are getting worse every game

Well Ferdinand has been injured,Vidic has been banned, Evans has been on the brink of getting injured every game he plays plus his ankle is sore, Neville has been playing centre back which he is not capable of playing now that he has been out for god knows how long, and Evra has been playing every single match.
I would have taken 2-2 compared how we were playing, we'll perform in Portugal.

Just got back from the match, defence was shocking! Evans had to come off, he was affraid to make a pass, caused alot of problems. I just couldn't believe we threw away away a lead with 5 minutes to go! It was just abit of a joke today. There was no creativity in midfield from any of the players.
Tactically I would love to know what Fergie was thinking playing, at home playing one man up front just showed our lack of confidence!
