Think Rio will start on Wednesday - I`m guessing Ferguson didn`t want to risk him today. He doesn`t need games I think, he has a cool head and he can step right in.

Why's Martin upfront and Welbeck on the wing?
Martins best form in the reserves has come playing just off the striker.
Bassong is as good as their whole back four put together. And Beye is out too - a huge, huge blow for them. I'm expecting Milner and Young to absolutely ruin both of Newcastle's "full-backs".
But yeah, we don't hear anyone complaining about Newcastle not fielding their strongest side.
