Can't believe some of you, Park has been one of our best players.well to be honest, neither Park nor Anderson seemed capable of completing a basic pass FFS.

Is Giggs really playing in midfield though?
He seems far too forward and Carrick and Anderson just arent able to handle them.
Giggs & Anderson is not at the races. The game is passing them by. The line up may be similar to the Arsenal games at Emirates but the position the players are taking up is quite poor. Giggsy was just playing in the hole. It was actually more like 4411 rather than 433.
Anderson was disappointing. Where was the aggression? Where was the quickness? Where was the immediate pressing?
Giggs was anonymous. Disappointing considering he is the most experience head on the pitch.

Tactics. Messi, Busquets, Xavi and Iniesta Vs. Carrick and Anderson in the middle of the pitch. Giggs is literally playing in the hole behind Ronaldo and trying to support him but the ball is often behind him leaving our midfield 4 on 2.

We've been diabolical after the goal went in, mistakes creeping in and players not looking that they've got the guts to do it. No wonder Ronaldo is getting pissed off.
We need Tevez to get on, we pressured Barca's defence for the first ten minutes but after that there hasn't been enough pressure on them, Tevez would correct that. Giggs hasn't done enough imo either in the middle or on the wing, would be my preferred substitution.

Giggs and Park need to come off. Useless in defense, useless in attack. Later on bring on Scholes for Anderson.

Well what can i say.After the goal we went to pieces and never recovered.Carrick and Anderson look lightweight .We really need a bruiser of a midfielder in there in games like this.
Michalik (US commentator, former US international midfielder) just said United are playing more of a diamond formation with Carrick sitting back and Giggs pushing up which is allowing too much midfield space.

Nah. He was the unluckiest not to score (great tackle from Pique) but aside from that he's been very unimpressive, mostly in attacking areas giving the ball away. He's made a few tackles coming back but im not so sure thats enough given we now need to chase the game.
This isnt Wigan or Spurs. Playing with the fab four will more than please Barca. Last thing we need to do is go all out against a team like this.

He's had to cover too much ground because Giggs & Anderson is MIA. O'Shea is careful not to get caught up pushing up - so little support when pushing up. Giggs and Anderson are either both upfield and/or left side. He's had to cover a lot of ground. A bit headless as a result.
