Bloody hell that was frustrating... Well played Burnley. cannot begrudge them a victory. 33 years they've waited... Ryan Giggs MOM. Him and Evra were the only United players who actually looked like they gave a shit.
 
really annoyed about this one. Its not even so much the result as the attitude, lack of determination and the simple fact that they didnt seem to give 2 shits about the result. That is what is really sickening.

I don't care what ever you guys say. We sell ronaldo for 80 million....and get owen and valencia. I'm not saying we have to win the league every year..but at least lets make signings that make the league and europe know we are powerful and have ambition....

fecks sake............fergie.I love you and perhaps you are doing the rebuilding, but give us fight on the pitch....lose with fight and I'm totally happy, but be lethargic against a team you would normally put a second string team out and I'm saying nooooooooooooooooooo, computer says noooooooooooooooo
 
Fergie leaving on Park was criminal...everyone could see he was having an absolute nightmare...Carrick really fecked me off, nothing to do with missing the penalty, he just looked disinterested all game. Rooney and Evra played well, Berbatov looked ok when he came on. But feck me, Burnley FFS.

How many times did we have it out on the wing with no-one overlapping and two players just inside running into each other. They looked like a bunch of fecking clowns half of them. Burnley FFS.
 
Owen, Carrick, Ando and Park have been utter shite tonight.

Park was by far MOTM...... for Burnley.

Rooney, Evra and Giggs were the only 3 players that looked good and gave it a real try.

Wank performance, truly, truly disappointed.
 
TBH I'd rather it happens now early on rather than midway through the season. Valencia needs to grow a left foot aswell, shocking!
 
Park shouldnt have been starting, let alone playing 90 minutes.

And our midfield is atrocious compared to other top teams. Couldnt we just drop the CMs and play a 4-0-6?
 
Carrick should be dictating the play, and he just doesnt. Fletcher was the man missing today. Fletcher was the man missing in Barcelona.

Park and Anderson were absolutely shite. Carrick was just as bad. Brown had a mare (but he's just back from injury) and Fergie, tactically got it all wrong.

A team touted for relegation, and we play those negative tactics? Whats wrong with ya!?
 
So pissed off I've just started laughing, uncontrollably... like a nutter.
 
Very sad performance.Awful all over the pitch and some very puzzling changes,there is nothing positive we can take from this game
 
Second half was better, but still overall a very poor performance. Burnley deserved the win, but what really frustrates me is they didn't have to play all that well. They'll probably play better than that and lose at some point this season. Aside from timing his running out well, the 'keeper had almost nothing to do.

Oh well, Wigan at the weekend, lets see if we can get a reaction from the players.
 
If i were Fergie, and if i were legally allowed to do so, i simply wouldnt pay the players for this week, they dont deserve anything for that performance, let alone the tens of thousands of pounds they get that the rest of us need to work months to earn.
 
I was really looking forward to this game yet I now feel like I've been kicked in the bollocks and lost £50...at the same time!
 
yeah its annoying loosing to Burnley but its onlly the second game of the season, got to put it behind us now and its onto Wigan on Saturday, expect a reaction.

Simply not good enough, got what we deserved.

Not gonna bother picking out individual performances because nobody was doing well today. Can't think of a single positive thing about this game.

Not that I'm panicking. Only the 2nd game of the season. We'll get better...

Well duh, SAF didn't have much of a choice with the flanks with Nani injured. He took a gamble and hoped Park could provide us with the flair, Giggs can provide the last ball and hoped Owen or Rooney could do something. Park mind u has won us games last season so SAF had the right to think that he'd do it again even though he was poor for one games doesn't mean that he's shit and should be nowhere on the pitch.

By means the best thing that SAF should have done was substitute Park, play Rooney on the Left Berbs with Owen had way more of a chance to score and put AV on the Right, leaving Carrick-Giggs in the center. Don't have a clue what SAF was thinking either.

G.Neville ? O'shea was bad but we needed someone attacking minded FFS.

I heard he's Ronaldo's successor.

He didn't proved it. He was terrible. Ronaldo in his the worst game in a season was much better than Rooney tonight.

Just wasn't impressed with him tonight that's all.
He seemed to be snatching at things.

Hoped he'd carry through his performance from Sunday and, lets be honest' he didn't.

Not singleing him out, the whole team was pure shite, I honestly though only Giggs and Evra stood out.
