It's two weeks away so not a clue who'll be injured, etc... but I'd go with.

I don't understand how Valencia can warrant a start to be honest, I thought Park looked better when he came on against Arsenal. Most of the time his first touch comes straight from a pinball machine, and although there are sparks of brilliance, so far I think he has been generally clumsy. But hopefully he'll improve with experience.

Valencia has only played several games for us, he's only just got here. He needs more games to get more used to the team, you don't just dump him on the sidelines after a few games where he's still settling in.
 
I think Park playing on the left is a must. We know how much of a torrid time Lennon gives Evra, and on the form he's currently on, we need to double up imo.

Evra is on good form at the moment I thought. I love Park but he's a workhouse and that's it, I prefer going with two out & out wingers like Nani and Valencia who both are great going forward but also aren't afraid to track back and help out.

Did Ronaldo start every game when he first came to the club? We have other wingers in our squad as well; Valencia cannot seriously expect to breeze straight into the team starting every game in my opinion, sorry, when his performance levels aren't (yet) quite there. He's played 330 minutes for us so far, by the way, really only Rooney, Foster and Evra have played more. Park, Nani, and Giggs have just as much right as him to be in the team.

Well Giggs doesn't really get used on the wing now, he's more in the centre midfield. Plus when Ronnie first came, he was untested in the PL and a raw 18 year old lad. Valencia is used to this league now and he's not exactly a young teenager like Ronnie was. I would persevere with Valencia on the right.
 
Nani was strong defensively against Arsenal - very mature and promising performance from him. I was shocked Berbatov didn't start yesterday - he didn't deserve to be dropped.

Park on the left to counter Lennon, although I sort of expect Lennon to play on the left with Bentley on the right. Park and Nani can switch flanks accordingly though.

At first I put Giggs instead of Anderson, but I'd like to see Ando get a start alongside Fletch. Old dog Giggs to come off the bench and add a bit of class if needed.

But I'd rather have him than Park out wide, at least he can cross and has a tremendous burst of pace.

Anyway I'd go with this team, I hope Fergie will give Anderson a chance to prove his worth, he needs confidence and games.

I've been told by a mate that I 'might' be able to have his mate's ticket for this one so I'm perilously holding onto probably folse hope. :devil:

Predicting lineups isn't my forte, although Rowem's looks fairly sound and I think the side will be like he predicted. I think Owen might make an appearance for this one though, as he was surprisingly absent in Arsenal game. I think this one will be made easier for us by the injury to Modric, who's been at the heart of a lot of their attacking play early on this season, but Lennon, Defoe and Palacios have looked good so far, so it's unlikely to be an easy test by any means.

We were quite lucky to get all three points against Arsenal, but if our midfield manages to distribute and also defend with more consistency, and we don't waste opportunities as much (like Berbatov's towards the end on Saturday) we should have enough quality to win this. Our start hasn't been inspiring though, so we shall see.

I'm predicting 2-2 myself.
 
I deleted that because I realized I'd put Valencia and he'd put Nani :lol: but it was the same apart from that.
 
Ferdinand tends to come back fine from injury - he hits the ground running. Vidic will be even sharper as well and so I think we'll be fine defensively.

Modric out for them is a loss. I hope we take advantage - Spurs will give you a chance if you get at them and so I hope the team selection is attacking.

i think modric will be a huge loss for them. i always liked spurs for the way they play football but we tend to do well against them and i think we will continue. exciting game to be sure but we will shade it 3-1

He will be a big loss no doubt. That said I think Palacios is their most important player.

Very hard to pick the team for this one but I wouldn't mind seeing that. However Nani's tracking back is improving so he can come on second half and score the winner :)

I'd go with this team as well.

Has Valencia ever played on the left wing? He could do a good job helping Evra out with Lennon, and IIRC Nani usually plays well on the right side.
 
I want Valencia to keep ticking over. He hasn't impressed tremendously in the last couple of games, but he just needs a run to get in to the groove. Arsenal at home was hard, so we'll see how he goes 'hopefully' up against Gareth Fail.
 
As usual it should be a very open and entertaining game given the way that both teams play, with Spurs looking to attack and accepting the risks that go with it.

With any luck Woodgate should be back for this match and King should have recovered from his groin strain. The loss of Modric is the obvious downside - probably Kranjcar will take his place.

With Spurs being the home team and in good form, if offered a draw right now I wouldn't take it, and I don't expect it to be the low-scoring fixture of the last two seasons (0 - 0 and 1 - 1).
 
I would take a draw from this, but I hope they pull their fecking socks up for it, especially Carrick if he starts.
 
draw won't be good if chelsea and others win, only a win will do although it be really tough.........
