I reckon King could start alongside Owen or possibly Macheda. Wellbeck will likely be put on a wing somewhere in that case.

owen , macheda , welbeck , nani , tosic , obertan (strikers+wing) .. cant see king starting
 
There is alot of buzz around King at the moment, and I think tonight could be a good chance to throw him into the mix.

With senior players ahead of him he won't start but more than likely come on at some point. I hope he takes the opportunity to show us what he's capable of.

Getting a look at the potential first teamers of the future and watching their development is something to be proud of. What disturbs me is the supporters who dont even care about these games. They would prefer if we forfeited the competition early to focus on the main 2 priorities instead.

I think its absolutely ridiculous myself.
 
Whilst I understand that he has other 2nd string players ahead of him in the pecking order, I just have a gut feeling he will start. Fergie, from the interviews I can remember regarding this years Carling Cup, he mentioned "A new year of young talent", and I took that as bringing in and giving a real chance to as many youth players as possible. Dunno why, its just a feeling.

O and that Obertan will score first, after around 32 minutes and United will win 3-0.

Just heard the lineup on SSN and i'm really looking forward to seeing this game, Fabio, Rafael, Anderson, Obertan, Owen , Macheda, Welbeck, Neville, Evans & Brown with Foster in goal.

It's a team that will be enjoyable to watch.
