all you ryan giggs doubters are being daft, giggs and rvn are just going through a bad patch at the moment, im sure that giggs will revive his form next season, which will be much better then joaquin coming.

also roy keane will play for another 2/3 years, nicky butt will stay.
the only person leaving i think is diego forlan

I expect business to resume as normal once the entire squad is fit and Rio returns (plus a player or two bought in the summer).

No offence, but I don't regard that as progress. Keane is a rock - we all know that, but I just cannot see him physically recapturing his old self. I also think that as club captain, it's difficult to percieve how his thoughts are taken within the dressing room, he hardly plays ffs.

RVN, he should be in his prime. He just lacks service, but that will change next season.

Oh yes, the post was about Giggs. I've posted everywhere about him. One of my personal favorites, but seriously under scrutiny. Captain against City - what a totally shambolic performance, he is only captain because he is who he is, and that's not because he's a leader. He should play second fiddle to Ronaldo next season and the occasional link player, but used as second choice. Of course he shows every now and then how it's done, but we need that at least every 2 games. He's getting on and those hamstrings won't go on for ever.

Disagree about Butt, he can go. He's served us well for sure, but it suits both parties if he moves on and makes way.

Forlan - spot on, starting to dislike him now.

If Joaquin will come, as a competitor, Giggs will play better too!! I hope Joaquin to join us.

No, Keano can only play for 1 more season. If not, he could only be a reserve player.

Butt should go. I think he plays his limit already and can't find any more improvement in united. Still late trackle, bad passing. Move to Boro may be good to both parties.

Forlan should "bye bye" only if there's any club interested in him and any???

Ill agree with this

I'd like to see a talented young LW come to OT this summer to learn the ropes from Giggsy for a year or two before being gradually phased in. Ronnie can stay on the right since Joaquin ain't coming anyway.

Jesus people! This is Ryan Giggs we are talking about! This man has been a servant to the Manchester United Football Club for more than half of his life, and has built up the reputation of one of the best wingers in the entire game. But after a bad season, you guys are ready to just get rid of him just like that!? (I know its not all of you!) Where's the love here? Somebody plays his heart out for the club, and now you'se are ready to move him behind, of all people, a 18 year old (or however old the cnut is!). I thought there was more repect for him than what Im seeing, thats for sure.

Shame on you haters!!

we only need a left winger in the summer, someone to take after giggs if he gets injured.
joaquin is a right winger, we have enough of them (ronaldo, ole, belion, eagles) but on the left, we only have giggs and ronaldo sometimes. we need a naturally left sided player, like DAMIEN DUFF, with arjen robben going to chealsea that might unsettle him, so he might come to us.

So it's contradict to your "Giggs or Joaquin" agrument of your title, isn't it? The best thing of Ronaldo is that he can both playing as LW or RW, so if we bought Joaquin it will be Ronaldo who will succeed Giggs eventually.

I agree Tengy.

We need a young left winger to learn from giggs not replace him.

Show the guy a bit of support not call for his head, muppets.

We'd be fools to sell Giggs. He's United through and through, and was top class for the first half of the season before it all went to shit. He's done the lot and can do a great job for us until he retires.

ANYONE WHO CALLED FOR GIGGS'S HEAD SHOULD BE feckED!!YEAH,ANY TRUE RED FANS WOULD NOT BLAMING GIGGSY FOR ANYTHING.u're talking about GIGGS here.Just being sad because Robben's not comin'.They said he a giggs-type of player.

that's why he's fergie's main target.TO REPLACE THE AGEING GIGGS.GOD GIGGS. :boring:

Inter Milan told Giggs can leave Man Utd.

By Dave Eadevic

Long time Inter Milan target Ryan Giggs has according to reports in newspaper been told he can leave Old Trafford in the summer. Alex Fergusson is thought to be planning major changes to a squad that has disapointed this season.

Currently in his 13th Season with the Manchester club, Giggs will be allowed to leave at the end of the season, with Inter thought to be leading the way in a chase for the Welshmans signature.

Diego Forlan is also expected to be leaving, although a move to La Liga is thought to be more likely for Forlan.

And this doesn't look o be the end of the changes at either Inter or Manchester with both sides looking towards major changes following disapointing campaigns

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!SAY IT ISN'T TRUEee(FERGIE,I'LL KILL U FOR THATT!!

Giggs needs one more Leaue Title to go out on his own as THE all time great. Currently level with Phil Neal of Poo I think.

I'd like to think every United fan recognises what Giggsy has done for us. That doesnt mean he doesnt deserve some stick when he (occassionally) doesnt perform. He was poor against City and too quiet against Porto. Bad timing! It is out of order to start wanting shut of him though :nono: He's one of our greatest players and we should get behind him. We'll certainly miss him when he does leave us.

Giggs = Legend

Even if we do bring in another winger, all of us would want Giggsy to stay
even comming of the bench or starting less matches then usual........

He should go on his own terms.....

Ryan's had a pretty good season amongst the mediocrity. I certainly don't expect him to leave although the experiment of playing him in the middle should now be scrapped altogether, he relies far too much on his left to be decisive and effective there. He's far better on the left and that's where he can still do a great job for the next season or two at least.
