Agreed, Gibson is just trying too hard today - rushing everywhere. Obviously trying to impress SAF but he needs to just settle down in the second half and be like his elegant self.
There's such a uniqueness to Obertan's style of play. Great first half.

Gibson looks off it tonight. Spraying passes, shooting every chance he gets and has lost the ball quite a few times on build ups

Stop overrating, he hasn't been that good. He wasn't even playing well in my eyes. Needs to improve in the second half.

Gibson = know its early days but Everton level player IMO.
Obertan = Kid is looking exciting and confident, decision making needs improving along with final ball. (Reminds me a little of a young Portuguese kid :-)
Wellbeck = Showing too much to opposition player and tends to advertise intentions. Needs to learn a few tricks and gain himself a few yards IMO.

True, but he has played quite a few reserve games with Macheda, Rafeal, and Wellback
Think some are overdoing it with Obertan.He's played well but nothing special.
Our improvement needs to come in the final third. We have done most of the build up play and defending right, except for those 2 dangerous moments. Our attackers have looked quite good so far without the end product.
