Great performance, the pace and passing is killng Wigan Rooney Valencia Rafael and Evra are having storming games, Carrick and Fletch bossing midfield without breaking sweat, Wes and Vidic cool at the back.

Rooney had a brilliant 30 mins doing everything right and unlucky not score before his first goal. Rafael's been bomding forward and always seem to get in to good positions in the attacking half. Carrick's got a goal he deserved to increase his confidence and Fletch's been his usual self starting attacks - all in all a great half for us.

True. But recently we havent punished teams when they have been shitty for reasons well known. So its a respite to see us thrashing someone again.
Very good first half performance. WIgan have been shite but this is the most balanced the side has looked for a long time. Great stuff.
Now go for the jugular second half for the first 15 minutes and then give last half an hour to Fabio, Obertan and Welbeck as there are not going get a better chance than this at some PL action.

Raphael has been immense today. No disrespect to JOS, as he's a very good defender, but Raphael has shown today what a good attacking right back brings to the team.

I said it before the game I think Park and Valencia are the most likely wing pairing to get the most out of Berbatov and Rooney provided that Rafael and Evra are also playing so we don't lose width and attacking threat. I hoping this will allow Fergie to get Giggs back playing in the centre later on in the season. It's the best we got open to us IMO with Nani well out of favour and Obertan very raw.
