Birmingham City v Manchester United

No, it's not a Veetle Strettle before anyone asks.

Fergie has been trying this formation for quite a while now. A 4-5-1 when trying to win the midfield battles and when attacking patiently, and 4-3-3 when attacking with intensity and speed. Knowing Fergie, he will make this formation works one day, esp in a very important match. Just wait and see.

Fingers crossed fella.

Thank You. Some fecking optimism! Come on you Reds!!

Anyone got a Sopcast link so I can witness the TV audience record breaking Diouf debut?

Im a lil meh on this game given the conditions, Brummy are doing well, we're playing 1 up, we can go top with a win and Arsenal just dropped points. This season thats happened a lot and United have failed to motivate themselves somehow. Hopefully Fergie has thrown a boot in their direction.

Come on lads, take that top spot.

Good Sopcast or TVU link would be appreciated

Not the most attacking of line-ups, but there's enough quality out there to get the job done. Alot could depend on Rafael and Evra getting forward effectively to give us another attacking dimension, and of course if Scholes gets to grip with the game then we'll have a genius pulling the strings for us. No reason why that shouldn't happen with such a hard-working if relatively uncreative midfield around him to do the leg work. Apart from 3 points a vintage Scholes performance is what I'm most hoping for today. Strange how you take them for granted until it dawns on you that he won't be around forever.

both teams contained one Ryan giggs supporting him did they not?

Not to mention it was 2-0 against West Ham when Berbatov subbed on and the side immediately scored twice. And the poster failed to mention Rooney's two penalty goals in the 4-1 win over Pompey. But as you stated, Giggs was supporting Rooney both matches. Rooney as a sole front man is isolated.

Also, fully expecting Rooney to score today... Thats what he's been doing in this set up most of the time this season.

Black shorts :nervous:
