Birmingham City v Manchester United

Birmingham are a fecking solid good ol fashioned English footballing side. Solid all over...

We need another striker up front.

I'll be happy with a point tbh.

Being solid used not be good enough to blunt us, Leeds were solid and dogged too, we should have enough talent/guile/fight to overcome 'solid'.

we've had a ton more corners than them, but the quality of their corners was 100 times the quality of ours. we really are the worst corner taking club in the land, no question about that.

So are to expect another half of thinking

"alright an entire 45 minutes, we can turn this around"
"still 30 minutes to go, can win for sure"
"20 minutes to go, we've come back from worse"
"15 minutes to go... err I'd take a draw now"
"10 minutes to go... where the feck is Solskjaer when you need him?"
"5 minutes to go, I'm sure we'll nick a draw"
"Stoppage time... come on they don't call it Fergie time for no reason"
"FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-"

 i hope not!1

That half was like being in first place for nearly the entire race in Mario Kart and getting hit by the blue shell.

Don't even mention the free kicks.....

Does anyone expect SAF to take his time with substitutions and wait till the 75 minute to bring someone new in? He rarely makes changes at halftime.

They might do ok this season but what have they shown so far in this game ? They're just sitting in their own half looking at us creating a mess in their own area. Not that we'e been really good at creating chances, but if we cannot beat such a team... they've shown absolutely nothing apart from a luck tap-in by Jerome. They have played like a relegation team so far.

I agree, and there used to me more between us and other sides than a lucky goal.

True, but then again, we've never scored the first goal against Birmingham today.

True but Birmingham have never Manchestered the first United against us before yesterdays today.

We've starved our best player of the ball by playing him up front on his own. Had that one chance though..

I will bet anything we don't score in this game.

I'll bet you your Red Cafe membership because you're a shite poster anyway (I think). We score you can feck off.

Anyway, we've played well. Carrick looks like Berbatov with his long sleaves and advanced position. Created some good openings. Score before 70 mins and I reckon we'll win. Don't think the ref had been too bad contrary to what others are saying.

That was a pretty woeful first half.
Brum park the bus at home and block every shot.
Breakaway and sloppy defending twice from Jonny Evans results in a corner and then a goal.

sums up our season, we just havent been able to break down hard working teams like Brum.

We need a bit of magic from someone, Scholes off Giggs on for me

The right formation to be sure, just hasn't quite happened in the final third [a tough less dithering at times would be nice].

We're a hairsbreadth away, i'm still more than confident.

The amount of times I've been through that entire list has shown how spoilt we've been of late to be honest.

We are a spoiled bunch of cnuts but hey we root for one of the so called best teams in the world. We must have some expectations.

Rooney did quite well in fairness. When he had the chance to do something he generally managed something. The problem is that Valencia has been the only one he could count on supporting him and the couple of times he broke free of his marker we didnt make Birmingham pay.

Rooney up front on his own is a waste of time. How many times is Fergie going to play this system before he realises it doesn't score goals.

Probably when it becomes reality, rather than a myth.

4-3-3 leads to plenty of goals, as shown by us and many other clubs.

Arsenal fans said the same about Van Persie up front on his own whenever he played there intermittently, if he played there regularly he'd be great I'm sure.
